6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not immerse the heater in water.
  • Air Intake/Exhaust: Periodically check the air intake and exhaust vents for dust or debris. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove any blockages.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, consult the following common issues before contacting support:

  • Heater does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
    • Check if the Mode Selector Knob is set to a heat or fan setting, not OFF.
    • Verify that the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature.
    • Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses in your electrical panel.
    • If the heater was recently tipped over or overheated, the safety features might have activated. Place the heater upright on a flat surface and allow it to cool for a few minutes before attempting to restart.
  • Heater produces insufficient heat:
    • Ensure the Mode Selector Knob is set to 1500W (HIGH) for maximum heat output.
    • Confirm the thermostat is set to a high enough temperature.
    • Check for obstructions around the air intake or exhaust vents.
    • The room size may be too large for the heater's capacity.
  • Heater makes unusual noises:
    • A slight humming sound from the fan is normal.
    • If loud or unusual noises occur, discontinue use and contact customer support.
