Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this dehumidifier to ensure safe and optimal operation. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Always place the dehumidifier on a level, stable surface to prevent tipping and water spillage.
• Ensure proper clearance around the unit (at least 8 inches) for adequate airflow. Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Do not operate the unit near water or in excessively wet environments.
• Unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning, moving, or performing any maintenance.
• Do not use extension cords. Plug the unit directly into a grounded electrical outlet.
• Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.
• Do not insert objects into the air vents or any openings.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

Setup and Installation

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
2. Placement:

   Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the area where dehumidification is desired. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.

3. Power Connection:

   Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the unit's requirements.

4. Drainage Setup (Choose one):
   • Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The unit is ready for manual drainage by default. The water tank will collect condensed moisture. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate.
   • Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the included drain hose to the drainage port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable floor drain or larger container, ensuring the hose is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.

Operating Instructions

The COLAZE dehumidifier features an intuitive touch control panel for easy operation.

Control Panel Functions:

• Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Humidity Setting Button (⚙): Press to adjust the desired humidity level from 30% to 80% Relative Humidity (RH) in 10% increments. The unit will automatically maintain this level.
• Timer Button (⏷): Press to set the auto-off or auto-on timer from 1 to 24 hours.
• Speed Button (⟳): Press to switch between Low and High fan speeds.
• Display: Shows the current humidity level or timer setting.
• Indicator Lights:
  • Defrost: Illuminates when the unit is in defrost mode.
  • Tank Full: Illuminates and an alarm sounds when the water tank is full and needs to be emptied.
  • Timer: Illuminates when the timer function is active.
  • Low/High (Operation): Indicates the current fan speed.

Operating Modes:

• Normal Dehumidification: The unit operates to reach and maintain the set humidity level.
• Continuous Dehumidification: The unit runs continuously regardless of the humidity level, ideal for very damp conditions.
• Ventilation: The fan operates without dehumidification, circulating air.
• Dry Clothes: Optimized settings for drying laundry in humid environments.

Humidity Indicator Lights:

The unit features ambient lighting that changes color based on the environmental humidity:

• Blue: Low humidity (e.g., below 45% RH)
• Green: Ideal humidity (e.g., 45%-55% RH)
• Red: High humidity (e.g., above 55% RH)

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your COLAZE dehumidifier.

1. Emptying the Water Tank:

When the water tank is full, the "Tank Full" indicator will light up, and the unit will beep for 20 seconds before automatically shutting off. To empty:

1. Gently pull out the water tank from the back of the unit.
2. Empty the collected water.
3. Slide the empty tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

2. Cleaning the Air Filter:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
2. Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
3. Wash the filter with clean water and a soft rag. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

3. Storage:

If storing the unit for an extended period:

• Empty the water tank and ensure it is completely dry.
• Clean the air filter.
• Store the unit in an upright position in a cool, dry place.
