Video 1: Geemax Electric Tricycle Assembly Guide. This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of unboxing and assembling the tricycle components, including handlebars, wheels, brakes, and accessories.
- Unboxing and Initial Setup: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. (Refer to Video 1: 0:00)
- Handlebar Installation: Insert the handlebar stem into the frame and tighten the screw securely. (Refer to Video 1: 0:08)
- Chain Installation: Remove the frame protection, pass the chain through the chainwheel, connect the chain, and ensure it is locked. Then, install the chain onto the flywheel. Adjust the rear axle to ensure smooth chain operation and tighten the four screws. (Refer to Video 1: 0:18 - 1:43)
- Pedal Installation: Install the pedals. Note that the 'R' pedal installs by turning clockwise, and the 'L' pedal installs by turning counterclockwise. (Refer to Video 1: 1:44)
- Fender Installation: Assemble the front fender by attaching its support stay. Install the red reflectors and support stays on both the rear left and rear right fenders. (Refer to Video 1: 2:00 - 3:39)
- Headlight and Front Fender Installation: Remove the fork protection. Install the headlight and the assembled front fender onto the front fork simultaneously, then tighten them with screws. (Refer to Video 1: 3:40 - 4:03)
- Front Wheel Installation: Remove the screws and washers from the front wheel. Place the front wheel onto the fork, connect the motor wire (arrow to arrow), and install the safety hook. Securely tighten all components. (Refer to Video 1: 4:04 - 4:59)
- Rear Fender Installation: Install the rear fenders onto the rear axle. The process is the same for both the left and right sides. (Refer to Video 1: 5:00 - 5:45)
- Rear Wheel Installation: Install the rear wheels. Ensure each rear wheel is on the same plane as its respective rear axle and fits perfectly. (Refer to Video 1: 5:46 - 6:28)
- Brake Installation and Adjustment: Install the left and right brakes by removing the screws and washers from the brake calipers and installing them onto the frame. Adjust the screw on the opposite side of the brake to ensure the brake and brake disc are not in contact. Insert the brake cable, tighten it, and lock it with the screw. (Refer to Video 1: 6:29 - 8:10)
- Saddle Assembly and Installation: Assemble the saddle onto the seat post and then insert the seat post into the tricycle frame. Adjust to a comfortable height and secure. (Refer to Video 1: 8:11 - 8:28)
- Rear Basket Assembly and Bag Installation: Assemble the wire mesh rear basket. Once assembled, place the provided bag inside the basket and secure it. (Refer to Video 1: 8:29 - 9:39)
- Front Reflector and Stem Cap: Install the front reflector onto the handlebar and secure the cap on the stem. (Refer to Video 1: 9:40 - 9:55)
- Motor Wire Fixation: Securely fix the motor wire to prevent interference or damage during operation. (Refer to Video 1: 9:56 - 10:03)

- Chains: Keep chains clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.
- Frame and Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and fasteners for tightness. Tighten any loose components.
- Cleaning: Clean the tricycle with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components.
6. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tricycle does not power on | Battery is off or not charged; loose battery connection; faulty power button. | Ensure battery is on and charged. Check battery connection. Contact support if power button is faulty. |
| Motor not assisting | PAS level is 0; motor wire disconnected; faulty motor. | Increase PAS level on the display. Check motor wire connection (arrow to arrow). Contact support if motor is faulty. |
| Brakes feel weak | Worn brake pads; loose brake cable; brake disc misalignment. | Inspect and replace worn brake pads. Adjust brake cable tension. Ensure brake disc is aligned and not rubbing. |
| Unusual noises during ride | Loose components; dry chain; tire rubbing. | Check and tighten all fasteners. Lubricate the chain. Inspect tires for rubbing against fenders or frame. |
