Safety Information

• Always read and understand this manual before using the device.

Setup

Charging the Jump Starter

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the jump starter's USB input port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V/2A USB wall adapter (not included) or a car charger.
3. The LCD screen will display the charging status. Charge until the screen shows 100%.
4. For optimal battery life, fully charge the device before first use and recharge every month if stored.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

1. Ensure the jump starter is charged above 50%.
2. Connect the smart jumper cables to the jump start socket on the CARHEV JS-05.
3. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
4. Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
5. The smart clamps' indicator light should turn green, indicating a correct connection. If it's red or flashing, check connections.
6. If the vehicle battery is completely dead and the indicator light does not turn green, press the small "Boost" button on the smart cable for 3 seconds until the indicator turns green. This bypasses safety checks for extremely low voltage batteries.
7. Start the vehicle's engine.
8. Once the engine starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery, then disconnect the cables from the jump starter.

Using as a Power Bank

1. Connect your electronic device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to one of the USB output ports (USB1: 9V/2A QC3.0 or USB2: 5V/2A) using a compatible USB cable.
2. The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
3. The LCD screen will show the output status.

Using the LED Light

1. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the LED flashlight.
2. Press the power button briefly to cycle through the three modes:
• Normal Flashlight
• Strobe Light
• SOS Signal
3. Press and hold the power button again to turn off the LED light.
