5.1 Direct Mirror Mode (Recommended for iOS/MacOS)

This mode allows for instant screen mirroring without needing a Wi-Fi router connection. It's ideal for quick presentations or sharing content directly.

1. Ensure Direct Connect: The dongle's default mode is usually Direct Connect. If not, press the function button on the dongle for 2 seconds to switch to Direct Connect mode.
2. Connect Your Device:
• For iOS/Mac OS: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of your iPhone/iPad screen to open Control Center. Tap 'Screen Mirroring' and select 'AMB-XXX' (where XXX is a unique identifier). Enter the 4-digit password shown on your TV screen for auto-sync. For Mac OS, go to System Preferences > Displays > AirPlay Display and select 'AMB-XXX'.
• For Android/Windows: Find your phone's mirror function (e.g., Smart View, Cast, Wireless Display). Select 'AMB-XXX' to connect. For Windows, press 'Windows+K' and choose 'AMB-XXX' as the target device.

5.2 DLNA Mirror Mode (For Stable & Extended Streaming)

DLNA mode allows the dongle to connect to your Wi-Fi router network, providing a more stable and extended streaming experience, especially for content that requires internet access.

1. Switch to DLNA Mode: If not already in DLNA mode, press the function button on the dongle for 2 seconds to switch modes.
2. Connect to Dongle's Wi-Fi: On your phone/laptop, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the dongle's Wi-Fi signal (e.g., 'AMB-XXX').
3. Access Setup Page: Open a web browser on your device and enter the IP address displayed on the TV screen (usually 192.168.203.1).
4. Connect to Router: On the setup page, click 'Internet', select your home Wi-Fi router from the list, and enter its password. Confirm the connection.
5. Reconnect Device: Once the dongle is connected to your router, go back to your device's Wi-Fi settings and choose your router's network.
6. Start Streaming: Use your device's mirroring function (AirPlay, Smart View, Cast, Wireless Display) to select 'AMB-XXX' and begin streaming.

5.3 Screen Rotation

To switch between portrait and landscape display on the TV, press and hold the function button on the dongle for 3-5 seconds. Release the button to apply the change.

• Windows & Android Users: Can stream from most streaming apps including Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu Plus, YouTube, etc.
• iOS/Mac OS Users: Can mirror apps like Safari, Office, YouTube, Skype, Reddit, and other non-HDCP-protected apps. Note that iOS and Mac OS devices generally do not support HDCP-protected content streaming (e.g., Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu) due to content protection policies.
