1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before operating the dehumidifier. Keep this manual for future reference.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport.

3.2 Caster Wheel Installation

The dehumidifier includes four caster wheels for easy mobility. Insert each wheel into the designated slots on the bottom of the unit until it clicks securely into place.

3.3 Placement

Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in an area where the temperature will not fall below 41°F (5°C) or rise above 90°F (32°C). Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation.

3.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel

The control panel features an LED display and various buttons for setting the desired humidity level, fan speed, and timer functions.

4.2 Setting Desired Humidity

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
  2. Use the Humidity Up/Down buttons to set your desired humidity level (e.g., 45% to 55% for general comfort). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.

4.3 Fan Speed Selection

Press the Fan Speed button to toggle between two available fan speeds: Low and High. Higher fan speed will result in faster moisture removal.

4.4 Timer Function

The timer allows you to program the unit to turn on or off automatically after a set period (up to 24 hours). Press the Timer button and use the Up/Down buttons to set the desired duration.

4.5 Child Lock

To prevent unintended changes to settings, activate the Child Lock function by pressing and holding the Child Lock button (refer to the control panel diagram for exact button). This will disable all other buttons until unlocked.

4.6 Continuous Draining Option

For extended operation without manually emptying the water bucket, connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to a low-level drain to allow gravity to remove collected water.

4.7 Loss of Power Protection

In the event of a power outage, the unit will automatically resume operation with the last saved settings once power is restored.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Emptying the Water Bucket

When the water bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the bucket from the front of the unit and empty the collected water. Reinsert the bucket securely to resume operation.

5.2 Cleaning the Air Filter

The dehumidifier is equipped with a removable, easy-to-clean air filter. A 'Clean Filter' alert will indicate when cleaning is required. Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and air quality.

  1. Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the filter access panel on the side or back of the unit.
  3. Gently pull out the air filter.
  4. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
  5. Once the filter is dry, slide it back into its slot and close the access panel.

5.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
