4. Setup
4.1 General Installation Guidelines
- The Anker SOLIX Home Power Panel must be installed indoors.
- If your main electrical panel is outdoors, the Backup Load Center should be installed next to it outside.
- The maximum distance between the Home Power Panel and the main panel should be 16 feet (5 meters).
- Consult a professional electrician to assess your installation before purchasing or installing this equipment.
4.2 Home Power Panel Installation

Key steps include:
- Ensure installers wear insulating gloves.
- Turn off the main circuit breaker and solar breaker in your main electrical panel.
- Measure and mark the appropriate distance from the main panel for the Home Power Panel using the positioning card.
- Install the wall brackets using 60mm bolts for concrete walls or 50mm screws for wooden walls.
- Drive six 10mm screws into the backplate bracket of the Home Power Panel.
- Secure the Home Power Panel to the wall brackets.
- Drive the four remaining 10mm screws into the side of the backplate bracket.
- Wire the Home Power Panel by loosening the four screws on both sides and removing the lower panel.
- Install the 100A breaker on the main panel.
- Install the ring terminal with the appropriate 3AWG and 8AWG grid-supply cables.
- Run the grid conductors and current transformer cables from the Home Power Panel to the main panel.
- Unscrew the grid wiring connectors and connect to the L1, L2, neutral, and ground conductors.
- Orient the current transformers with the arrow pointing toward the power source.
4.3 12-Circuit Backup Load Center Installation
If you are installing the 12-Circuit Backup Load Center:
- For circuit safety, remove the green screw to disconnect the neutral and ground bars.
- Align the Backup Load Center with the ground bar kit and secure it with screws.
- Run the grid conductors from the Home Power Panel to the 12-Circuit Backup Load Center.
- Unscrew the backup wiring connectors and connect them to the L1, L2, neutral, and ground conductors.
- Connect two live wires to the 12-Circuit Backup Load Center's L1 and L2 connectors.
- Loosen the wire screws, insert one neutral wire and one ground wire into the unused neutral and ground bars. Tighten the screws when finished.
- Remove branch or circuit breakers from the main panel and install them into the Backup Load Center. Ensure live and neutral conductors are connected correctly.
4.4 Connecting F3800 Power Stations to Double Power Hub
To achieve 12,000W of dual-voltage power and expand capacity, link two Anker SOLIX F3800 Portable Power Stations with the Anker SOLIX Double Power Hub. Connect the F3800 units to the Home Power Panel ports via the Double Power Hub.
5. Operating
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press the main power button on the Anker SOLIX F3800 to turn the unit on or off. The display will show the battery percentage and output information.
5.2 Anker App Connection
Monitor and control your Anker SOLIX system remotely using the Anker app. Follow these steps to connect:

- Download the Anker app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or by scanning the QR code provided in the product packaging.
- Open the app, go to the "Devices" page, and select "Add Device".
- Use Bluetooth to connect the Home Power Panel to the app. The app will scan for nearby devices. You can also add it manually.
- Select "Home Power Panel" from the detected devices.
- Follow the prompts to configure the Wi-Fi network.
- The app will automatically check for the latest firmware version. If an update is available, follow the prompts to update the firmware.
- To pair the Home Power Panel with the F3800 Portable Power Station, hold the Bluetooth button on the F3800 for 7 seconds to reset it.
- The app will then scan for the F3800 via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Once connected, you can change the name of your F3800 Portable Power Station.
- Follow the prompts to complete the F3800 Portable Power Station network configuration.
- Perform a system self-test as instructed by the app. Ensure the F3800 Portable Power Station has less than 95% power before starting the test.
- Once the test finishes, customize electricity settings to complete initialization.
- Create a name for your home system and decide how much power to use and store.
- Select your Home Power Panel plan (e.g., Self-Consumption, Time of Use).
5.3 Charging
- AC Charging: Connect the AC Charging Cable to a standard wall outlet.
- Solar Charging: Connect solar panels using the Solar to XT60 Charging Cable and MC4 Solar Charging Connector. The system supports up to 2,400W solar input, charging to 80% in approximately 1.5 hours.
