3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Compatibility Check

This unit is designed for plug-and-play installation in specific 2018-2025 Toyota models including Corolla, Camry, Sienna, RAV4, Yaris, and Avalon, provided the vehicle has a basic audio system without a factory-installed amplifier. If your vehicle is equipped with a factory amplified system, this unit is not plug-and-play. The factory amplifier must be removed, and proper installation skills and custom cable connections will be required.

3.3. Installation Steps (Plug-and-Play)

The plug-and-play installation can typically be completed in approximately 15 minutes following these 4 steps:

1. Remove Trim Panel and Head Unit: Carefully remove the vehicle's trim panel and extract the factory CD player or head unit. Disconnect its power cable.
2. Connect Harness: Connect one end of the adapter harness to the DSP amplifier. Connect the other end to the vehicle's factory radio plug and the vehicle's stereo power connector.
3. Mount DSP: Place the DSP unit in a suitable location, such as the glove box.
4. Tune Audio: Once installed, perform audio tuning using the PC software or Android application.

3.4. Wiring Diagram

The provided harness connects the DSP amplifier between your car's head unit and the vehicle's audio harness. The male plug connects to the car radio/DVD, and the female plug connects to the vehicle side audio harness, utilizing the same power source as the car radio.

4. Operation and Tuning

4.1. Software and App Tuning

The PUZU PZ-C31S offers comprehensive audio tuning via dedicated PC software and mobile applications (Android/iOS). These tools allow you to access the 31-band equalizer, time alignment, crossover settings, and other advanced features to customize your sound experience.

• PC Software: Connect the DSP to your computer using the provided USB cable. Download the Windows tuning software from the official PUZU website.
• Mobile App: Connect your smartphone to the DSP via Bluetooth. Download the PUZU app (PZ-C7 or similar) from your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).

4.2. Bluetooth Audio Playback

Once connected via Bluetooth to your mobile device, you can stream music wirelessly to the DSP amplifier, enjoying enhanced audio quality through your vehicle's speakers.
