4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the air purifier and all packaging materials from the box.
  • Ensure all components listed in the 'Included Components' section are present.

4.2 Filter Installation

The filters may come pre-installed but wrapped in protective plastic. Remove all plastic packaging from the filters before use.

  1. Open the rear panel of the air purifier.
  2. Remove the pre-filter, HEPA filter, and active carbon filter.
  3. Remove any plastic bags or protective wrapping from each filter.
  4. Reinstall the filters in the correct order, ensuring they are securely seated. The pre-filter is typically placed first, followed by the HEPA and active carbon filters.
  5. Close the rear panel.

4.3 Placement

For optimal performance, place the air purifier in a location that allows for unrestricted airflow. The Coanda Air Flow design works best when the unit is placed against a wall, allowing air to circulate efficiently throughout the room.

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the air inlets and outlets.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas with high humidity.

Figure 4: Coanda Air Flow. This diagram demonstrates how the air purifier's design facilitates faster airflow at a 20-degree angle from the back, collecting dust at lower levels for more effective cleaning across the entire room.

4.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the air purifier.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Operating Modes

The air purifier offers various operating modes to suit different needs:

  • Auto Mode: The unit automatically adjusts fan speed based on sensor readings (PM2.5, temperature, humidity, dust, odor). This is the recommended mode for general use.
  • Clean Ion Shower Mode: Activates a strong airflow for 10 minutes to reduce static electricity and collect dust. After this, the dust sensor sensitivity increases, and the unit cleans powerfully for 50 minutes.
  • Haze Mode: Provides enhanced purification for conditions with high levels of haze or pollution.
  • Manual Fan Speed: Adjust the fan speed manually (Low, Medium, High) as desired.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates at the lowest fan speed for quiet operation, ideal for nighttime use. The noise level in Sleep mode is approximately 21dB.

5.3 Air Quality Display

The control panel features an intuitive color display that indicates the current air quality:

  • Blue: Indicates clean air.
  • Yellow/Orange: Indicates moderate air pollution.
  • Red: Indicates dirty air.

5.4 Plasmacluster Ion Operation

The Plasmacluster Ion generator operates automatically in most modes to release positive and negative ions into the air, neutralizing airborne pollutants.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your air purifier.

6.1 Cleaning the Unit

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.

6.2 Filter Maintenance and Replacement

The air purifier features a real-time monitoring system for filter life cycle, accessible via an application (if connected). Filters have an estimated life of up to 2 years, depending on usage and air quality.

Figure 5: Filter System. This image highlights the two main filter components: the fine mesh pre-filter, which captures larger particles and is washable, and the two-in-one HEPA and deodorizing filter, which captures 0.1µm particles up to 99%.

  • Pre-Filter: The fine mesh pre-filter is washable. Clean it regularly (e.g., monthly) by rinsing with water and allowing it to dry completely before reinstallation. This filter captures larger particles like pet hair and dust.
  • HEPA and Active Carbon Filter: These filters are not washable and must be replaced when their lifespan expires or when the filter indicator light illuminates. The application will also show the status for these filters.
  • To replace filters, follow the installation steps in Section 4.2 in reverse to remove old filters, then insert new ones.
