3. Setup Guide
3.1. Battery Installation
The UR02 remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
- Slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3.2. Pairing with TV Box (Bluetooth Mode)
To use the remote in Bluetooth mode, it must be paired with your Ugoos TV Box. The blue LED indicator will be bright when in Bluetooth mode.
- On the UR02 remote, simultaneously press and hold the Menu button (three horizontal lines) and the Volume Up button for approximately 3 seconds.
- The blue light on the remote will start to flash slowly, indicating it has entered pairing mode.
- On your Ugoos TV Box, navigate to the Bluetooth settings and enable the Bluetooth search function.
- Wait for the TV Box to detect "Ugoos Remote" in the list of available devices.
- Select "Ugoos Remote" from the list to initiate pairing and accept any system requests.
- Once pairing is successful, the blue light on the UR02 remote will turn off.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. LED Indicator Functions
The UR02 remote control features three LED indicators to show its current operating mode:
- Red LED: Indicates Infrared (IR) default mode.
- Green LED: Indicates Infrared (IR) learning mode.
- Blue LED: Indicates Bluetooth mode.
4.2. Infrared (IR) Learning Function
The learning function is supported for the grey buttons on the UR02 remote when in Infrared mode. This allows you to program these buttons to control other IR devices.
- Ensure the UR02 remote is powered on. Press and hold the Menu button (three horizontal lines) and the specific grey button you wish to program for about 3 seconds.
- Release your finger when the green LED light remains bright, indicating the remote has entered learning status.
- Hold the remote control to be learned (e.g., your TV remote) at a distance of about 3-5 cm from the UR02 remote.
- Press the desired button on the external remote that you want the UR02 to learn.
- After successful learning, the green LED will flash rapidly and then turn off.
Note: The Ugoos remote will automatically exit the learning state after approximately 15 seconds if no input is received. In Bluetooth mode, the learning function can be accessed via the "button manager" setting of your TV Box.

4.3. Air Mouse Function (Bluetooth Mode)
When in Bluetooth mode, the UR02 remote can function as an air mouse, allowing you to control a cursor on your screen by moving the remote in the air.
- To activate the air mouse, press the Mouse button (cursor icon).
- Move the remote in the air to control the pointer position on your screen using the built-in gyro sensor.
- To deactivate the air mouse function, press the Mouse button again.

4.4. Voice Search Function
The UR02 remote includes a built-in microphone for convenient voice search capabilities.
- Press the Microphone button on the remote.
- Speak your search query clearly into the microphone.

5. Maintenance

6.1. Gyro Sensor Calibration

- Place the remote control on a flat, stable surface and ensure it remains still during calibration.

- Press any key to exit the calibration mode.
Note: After power cycling or hibernation, the air mouse function is turned off by default. The hibernation function activates without operation after 30 seconds.
