Introduction

The Bright Starts 3-in-1 SuperSeat Playful Paradise is a versatile seating solution designed to grow with your child. It functions as an activity seat, a floor seat with a snacking tray, and a booster seat for mealtime. This product is suitable for babies from 6 months up to 3 years old, or a maximum weight of 33 pounds (14.97 kg).

Safety Information

WARNING: Always use the 3-point safety harness to secure your child in the seat. Never leave your child unattended. Ensure the seat is placed on a flat, stable surface when used as a floor or activity seat. When used as a booster seat, always secure it firmly to an adult dining chair using the provided straps.

This product is intended for children who can hold their head up unassisted.

Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Assembly is generally straightforward and does not require tools.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
2. Insert Foam Seat: Place the EVA foam insert into the main seat opening for added comfort and support for younger babies.
3. Attach Activity Tray: Align the activity tray with the base and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached.
4. Attach Snacking Tray (Optional): The snacking tray can be rotated into position over the activity tray or used independently.
5. Secure Safety Harness: Ensure the 3-point safety harness is properly threaded and accessible.

Operating Modes

The SuperSeat offers three distinct modes of use:

1. Activity Seat Mode

This mode is ideal for young babies who are learning to sit up unassisted. The seat provides supportive seating, and the 360-degree rotating activity tray keeps babies engaged with 6 sensory toys. The toys include a dangling monkey crinkle toy, a toucan squeaker toy, spinning alligator and lion gears, a giraffe with beads and a crinkle leaf, and a spinning ball with cascading beads. These toys are designed to develop gross motor skills.

2. Floor Seat with Snacking Tray Mode

For snack time, the activity tray can be rotated to reveal a BPA-free snacking tray with two cupholders. This mode provides a comfortable and secure spot for your baby to enjoy snacks while seated on the floor.

3. Booster Seat Mode

As your child grows, the SuperSeat can be converted into a booster seat. Remove the activity/snacking tray and use the included straps to securely attach the seat to most adult dining chairs. Always ensure the booster seat is firmly fastened to the chair and your child is secured with the 3-point harness before use.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your SuperSeat.

• Cleaning the Snacking Tray: The snacking portion of the tray is dishwasher safe.
• Cleaning Other Parts: All other surfaces, including the seat base, activity tray, and foam insert, can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly or storage.
• Storage: Store the SuperSeat in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your SuperSeat, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Difficulty Attaching/Removing Tray: Ensure the tray is aligned correctly with the slots on the seat base. Apply firm, even pressure. If stuck, check for any obstructions.
• Harness Adjustment: The 3-point harness should be snug but not too tight. Adjust the straps as needed to comfortably secure your child.
• Seat Instability: Always place the seat on a flat, level surface. When using as a booster, ensure the attachment straps are tightly secured to the adult chair.
• Toys Not Functioning: Check if toys are properly attached to the activity tray. Some toys are removable and may need to be re-secured.
