The SIRS-E StripFlexLED is a professional-grade, flexible LED tape light designed for versatile lighting applications. Setup and Installation

1. Preparation

• Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth for optimal adhesive performance.
• Measure the desired length for your LED strip.
• Ensure you have a compatible 24V LED power supply and any necessary dimmer switches or controllers (sold separately).

2. Cutting the LED Strip (Optional)

The StripFlexLED can be cut to custom lengths. Locate the designated cut marks on the strip, typically indicated by a scissor icon or copper pads. Cut only at these marks to avoid damaging the circuit.

3. Connecting the LED Strip

• If cutting, use appropriate StripLock™ connectors (sold separately) to re-establish electrical connections. Ensure polarity (+ to + and - to -) is correctly matched.
• Connect the LED strip to your 24V LED power supply. If using a dimmer, connect it between the power supply and the LED strip according to the dimmer's instructions.

4. Mounting the LED Strip

• Peel off the backing from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip.
• Carefully press the LED strip onto the desired surface, ensuring firm contact along its entire length.
• For added security, especially on vertical or uneven surfaces, use the provided mounting clips (if included with your connectors).

Operating Instructions

• Once installed and connected to a power supply, turn on the power to illuminate the LED strip.
• If using a compatible dimmer, adjust the brightness level as desired.

Dimmable Functionality:

The StripFlexLED is designed to be dimmable. To utilize this feature, you must connect it to a compatible 24V LED dimmer switch or controller (sold separately). Follow the instructions provided with your specific dimmer for operation.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
• Inspection: Periodically check the adhesive for secure attachment. Reapply or reinforce with clips if necessary. Inspect connections for any signs of wear or damage.
• Longevity: The StripFlexLED has an exceptional lifespan of approximately 75,000 hours. Proper installation and operation within specified voltage limits will maximize its life.
