Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the Touro radio.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. Ensure the power switch on the back of the unit is set to 'ON'.

2. Initial Wi-Fi Setup

Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through the Wi-Fi setup process:

1. The display will prompt you to select your language. Use the 'Tuning' dial to navigate and 'OK/Scan' button to confirm.
2. The radio will then scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your network from the list.
3. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the 'Tuning' dial to select characters and 'OK/Scan' to confirm each character.
4. Once connected, the radio will display a confirmation message.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

Familiarize yourself with the main controls on the front panel:

• Power/Mode: Press to turn on/off or switch between modes (Internet Radio, DAB, FM, Bluetooth, Spotify, Podcasts).
• Menu/Info: Access the main menu or view station information.
• Fav/Scan: Save favorite stations or scan for available stations.
• Back: Go back to the previous menu or screen.
• Tuning Dial: Rotate to navigate menus, adjust volume, or tune stations.
• OK/Scan: Press to confirm selections or initiate a scan.
• Volume +/-: Adjust the audio volume.
• Alarm: Set or manage alarms.
• Sleep/Snooze: Set sleep timer or snooze alarm.

2. Internet Radio

1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'Internet Radio' is selected.
2. Navigate through categories (e.g., Local, Genres, Locations) using the 'Tuning' dial.
3. Select a station and press 'OK/Scan' to start playback.
4. To save a favorite, press 'Fav/Scan' during playback.

3. Bluetooth Mode

1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'Bluetooth' is selected. The radio will enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or Bluetooth device, search for 'Majority Touro' in the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select 'Majority Touro' to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.

4. Spotify Connect

1. Ensure your Touro radio and the device running the Spotify app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Spotify app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
3. Play a song and tap the 'Devices Available' icon (usually a speaker or computer icon).
4. Select 'Majority Touro' from the list of available devices to stream music directly to your radio.

5. DAB/DAB+ and FM Radio

1. Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
2. Press the 'Mode' button to select 'DAB' or 'FM'.
3. For DAB, the radio will automatically scan for stations. For FM, use the 'Tuning' dial to manually tune or press 'OK/Scan' to auto-scan.
4. Use the 'Tuning' dial to select a station from the list.

6. Frontier Oktiv App Control

The Frontier Oktiv app allows you to control your Touro radio from your smartphone or tablet.

1. Download the 'Frontier Oktiv' app from your device's app store (available for iOS and Android).
2. Ensure your mobile device and the Touro radio are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Open the app, and it should automatically detect your Touro radio.
4. You can now control modes, volume, station selection, and more directly from the app.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: If storing the radio for an extended period, disconnect it from the power supply and store it in a cool, dry place.
• Antenna: Handle the telescopic antenna carefully to avoid damage.
