5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the radio using the USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the radio's input port and the USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or computer port. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.

5.2 Powering the Radio

The Greadio D11 offers multiple power options:

5.3 Antenna

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB/DAB+ and FM radio reception. Adjust its direction for the best signal.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button to turn the radio on or off.

6.2 Adjusting Volume

Rotate the Tuning/Volume Knob to adjust the audio volume.

6.3 Radio Modes (DAB/DAB+ and FM)

  1. Press the Mode Button to select either DAB or FM mode.
  2. Automatic Scan: In DAB or FM mode, press and hold the Menu Button (or a dedicated scan button if available) to initiate an automatic scan for available stations. The radio will search and save up to 40 DAB and 40 FM stations.
  3. Manual Tuning: Rotate the Tuning/Volume Knob to manually tune to a specific frequency.
  4. Preset Stations: To save a station, tune to the desired station, then press and hold a Preset Button (e.g., P1-P5) until the display confirms it's saved. To recall a saved station, short press the corresponding Preset Button.

6.4 Bluetooth Mode

  1. Press the Mode Button until "Bluetooth" appears on the display. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
  2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, search for "Greadio D11" (or similar) in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
  3. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the radio.

6.5 Media Player (USB/SD Card)

  1. Insert a USB drive or TF/SD card (up to 256GB, supporting MP3, WAV, APE, FLAC formats) into the corresponding slot.
  2. Press the Mode Button to select "Media Player" or "USB/SD Card" mode.
  3. The radio will automatically detect and begin playing audio files. Use the navigation buttons to skip tracks or adjust playback.

6.6 Flashlight

Press the dedicated Flashlight Button (if available) or a multi-function button to turn the flashlight on or off.

6.7 SOS Alarm

In an emergency, press and hold the SOS Button to activate a loud siren and flashing light. Press it again to deactivate.

6.8 Charging External Devices

Connect your smartphone or other USB-powered device to the USB-A Output Port on the radio using your device's charging cable. The radio's internal battery will act as a power bank to charge your device.

6.9 White Noise Function

The radio includes 8 types of white noise to aid relaxation or sleep. Access this function via the Mode Button or a dedicated menu option. Select your preferred white noise sound.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Radio does not power on.Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source or use the hand crank/solar panel to generate power.
Poor radio reception.Fully extend the telescopic antenna and adjust its position. Try moving to an open area away from obstructions.
Bluetooth device cannot pair.Ensure the radio is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable. Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try reconnecting. Make sure no other device is currently paired.
USB/SD card not playing.Ensure the card/drive is inserted correctly and contains supported audio file formats (MP3, WAV, APE, FLAC). Check if the radio is in Media Player mode.
External device not charging.Ensure the radio has sufficient battery charge. Check the USB cable connection.
