The TECKNET TK-MS01018 mouse supports three connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth 5.0 (BT1), and Bluetooth 3.0 (BT2). Use the mode switch button on the underside of the mouse to select your desired connection.

  1. Take out the USB 2.4G receiver from the battery compartment.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Switch the mouse's mode selector to the '2.4G' position.
  4. The mouse should connect automatically. If not, move the mouse closer to the receiver or try a different USB port.

  1. Switch the mouse's mode selector to either 'BT1' or 'BT2' position.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (usually located on the underside of the mouse, near the mode switch) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates the mouse is in pairing mode.
  3. On your device (computer, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  4. Select "TECKNET Mouse" or a similar name from the list of available devices.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light on the mouse will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds before turning off.
  6. Repeat these steps for BT2 to connect to a second Bluetooth-enabled device.

5. Operating Instructions

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Mouse

To clean your mouse, gently wipe its surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish. Ensure no liquid enters the mouse.

6.2 Replacing Batteries

When the mouse's performance degrades or the low battery indicator (if present) illuminates, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in section 4.1 to replace the two AAA batteries. Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

6.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a dry, cool place. If storing for a very long time, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
