Front Panel

• DSL Port: Connects to the telephone line for VDSL/ADSL internet access.

5.2 Initial Configuration

1. Access Management Page: Open a web browser on a connected computer and type http://tplinkmodem.net or http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar. Press Enter.
2. Login: Enter the default username and password (both usually admin). If these do not work, check the label on the bottom of the device.
3. Run Quick Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions of the Quick Setup Wizard to configure your internet connection (VDSL/ADSL settings provided by your ISP) and wireless network settings (Wi-Fi name and password).
4. Save Settings: After completing the wizard, save your settings and restart the modem router if prompted.

6. Operating

6.1 Connecting to the Wireless Network

1. Find Network Name (SSID): On your wireless device (laptop, smartphone), search for available Wi-Fi networks. The default network name (SSID) is printed on the label at the bottom of the modem router.
2. Enter Password: Select your network name and enter the wireless password (also found on the device label) when prompted.
3. Connect: Your device should now be connected to the internet.

6.2 Accessing Advanced Settings

To configure advanced features such as port forwarding, parental controls, or guest networks, log in to the web management page (http://tplinkmodem.net) using your administrator credentials. Refer to the online user guide for detailed instructions on specific features.

• Clear Browser Cache: Clear your web browser's cache and cookies, or try a different browser.
