1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Yaheetech Upholstered Bed (Model YA614434). Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

The Yaheetech Upholstered Bed is designed to offer optimal relaxation and comfort. It features a high, tufted headboard with a wing-shaped design, sturdy wooden slats, a solid metal frame, and robust legs. The padded components ensure quiet use, and the soft, breathable linen cover enhances sleeping comfort. Its modern design adds an elegant and welcoming atmosphere to any bedroom.

2. Safety Information

• Read all instructions thoroughly before assembly.
• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before starting assembly.
• Assemble the bed on a soft, clean surface (e.g., a carpet or blanket) to prevent scratching or damage to the product or floor.
• Do not overtighten screws during assembly, as this may damage the threads or components.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children and pets to prevent choking hazards.
• Assembly is recommended for two people to ensure safety and ease.
• The maximum load capacity for this bed is 272 kg. Do not exceed this weight limit.

3. Package Contents

Your Yaheetech Upholstered Bed is shipped in two separate packages. Please ensure you have received both packages before beginning assembly.

Note:

• Mattress and bed linen (duvet, bed sheet, pillows, etc.) are not included.
• Do not start assembly until you have received all packages.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the included assembly guide. The following points highlight key features and tips for assembly:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components from both packages. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface and compare them against the parts list in the separate assembly guide to ensure everything is present and undamaged.
2. Assemble Frame: Begin by attaching the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten until the entire frame is loosely assembled.
3. Install Center Support: Attach the center support beam and its legs to the bed frame. This provides crucial stability for the slat system.
4. Attach Slats: The wooden slats are designed for easy installation using Velcro fasteners. Simply unroll the slat system and press the Velcro strips firmly onto the corresponding strips on the bed frame. This method helps to keep the slats in place and minimizes noise.
5. Secure Connections: Once all major components are in place, go back and fully tighten all screws and bolts.

5. Operating Instructions

Once fully assembled and all connections are secure, the Yaheetech Upholstered Bed is ready for use. Simply place your mattress (140 cm x 200 cm recommended) onto the wooden slats. The high headboard is designed to accommodate mattresses of various thicknesses, with a 21.5 cm distance between the headboard and the bed frame.

• Cleaning: The linen fabric upholstery can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture, as these may damage the fabric or finish.
• Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain the bed's stability and prevent squeaking.
• Under-Bed Cleaning: The bed features an 11 cm ground clearance, allowing most robot vacuums to easily clean underneath.

7. Troubleshooting

• Squeaking Noises: If the bed makes noise, check all bolts and screws for tightness. Ensure the Velcro on the slats is firmly attached to the frame. The EVA foam on the slats is designed to minimize noise.
• Bed Feels Unstable: Verify that all connections are secure and that all support legs, including the central ones, are properly installed and making firm contact with the floor.
