2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Battery Installation
The safe requires 4 AA 1.5 Volt alkaline batteries (not included) for the electronic keypad and biometric scanner. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended as they may damage internal electronic components.
- Open the safe door using the emergency key for the first time.
- Locate the internal battery case cover on the inside of the door.
- Remove the cover and install 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery case cover.

2.3 Mounting the Safe
For added security, the safe can be fixed to a wall or floor using the provided expansion screws.
- Place the safe in the desired installation location.
- Mark the drilling spots on the wall or floor through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
- Remove the safe and drill two holes at the marked spots.
- Position the safe back in place and install the expansion screws through the safe into the drilled holes. Tighten screws securely.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 First Time Opening
To open the safe for the first time, slide down the emergency keyhole cover, insert the emergency key, and turn it 30° counter-clockwise. Then turn the handle clockwise to open the door successfully.
3.2 Setting the Digital Password
The initial password is "123456" and needs to be modified. The password must consist of a minimum of 3 numbers and a maximum of 8 numbers.
- With the door open, press the Setting button (located on the inner side of the door). The buzzer will sound, and a yellow light will display.
- Enter your desired password (3-8 digits) and press the "#" key. A green light indicates success.

3.3 Setting Fingerprints
The safe supports the storage of up to 25 fingerprints.
- With the door open, press the green Setting button (located on the inner side of the door).
- Place your finger on the biometric scanner. The safe will prompt you to lift and place your finger 5 times.
- A green light indicates successful fingerprint registration.

3.4 Unlocking Methods
Your Novasafe offers four convenient ways to unlock:
- Fingerprint + Knob: Place registered finger on scanner, then turn knob.
- Password + Knob: Enter your digital password, press "#", then turn knob.
- Emergency Key + Knob: Use the emergency key (as described in "First Time Opening"), then turn knob.
- Emergency Battery Box + Password / Fingerprint + Knob: If internal batteries are depleted, plug the emergency battery box into the port below the keypad. Then use either your password or fingerprint, followed by turning the knob.

3.5 Mute Mode
To turn on/off the key tone, press the "1" button for 3 seconds.

6. Troubleshooting

The dual alarm system will activate a loud 70dB alarm if:
- Three incorrect password attempts are made.
- The safe experiences violent vibrations.
To stop the alarm, enter the correct password or use the emergency key.
