Setup
1. Charging the Device
- Ensure the device is turned off.
- Open the charging port cover located on the side of the device.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, power adapter, power bank, car adapter).
- The OLED display will indicate the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the charging port cover to maintain water resistance.

2. Attaching a Jet Tip
- Select the desired jet tip from the assortment.
- Insert the stem of the jet tip into the hole at the top center of the flosser handle until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the tip release button (usually located on the back or side of the top part of the handle) and pull the tip out.
3. Filling the Water Reservoir
- Twist the water reservoir counter-clockwise to detach it from the main body of the flosser.
- Fill the reservoir with lukewarm water. Do not use hot water.
- Align the reservoir with the main body and twist clockwise until securely fastened.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Off
- To turn on the device, press and hold the power button (circular button with a power symbol) for 2 seconds. The OLED display will illuminate.
- To turn off the device, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds again.
- The device has a 3-step start process to prevent accidental activation.
2. Selecting Modes and Pressure Levels
- After powering on, press the 'M' button to cycle through the four modes: Soft, Normal, Strong, and Pulse. The selected mode will be displayed on the OLED screen.
- For Soft, Normal, and Strong modes, use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the water pressure level (3 levels available). The Pulse mode has a fixed pressure.

3. Flossing Technique
- Lean over a sink and place the jet tip into your mouth, aiming it at the gumline at a 90-degree angle.
- Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
- Turn on the device and start with the lowest pressure setting, gradually increasing as comfortable.
- Guide the water stream along the gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Work from the back teeth towards the front, covering both the front and back surfaces of your teeth.
- Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth or the reservoir is empty.

Maintenance
1. UVC Self-Cleaning Function
- The MySmile LP221 features a built-in UVC light for self-cleaning the water tank and jet tips.
- To activate, ensure the reservoir is empty or contains clean water. Place the jet tip into the device.
- Press and hold the 'M' button for 3 seconds. The UVC light will activate for a 120-second cleaning cycle, indicated on the OLED display.
- This function helps maintain optimal hygiene for your oral care device.

2. General Cleaning
- After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water.
- Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Periodically clean the jet tips by rinsing them under running water. For deeper cleaning, they can be soaked in a denture cleaning solution.
- Ensure the filter at the end of the gravity-ball sucker in the reservoir is clear of debris to prevent clogging.
3. Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Use the provided PU pouch for convenient and protected storage, especially when traveling.
