4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Headset
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the headset.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
- The indicator light on the headset will show charging status (refer to the LED indicator section for details).
- A full charge takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
4.2 Pairing with a Device
- Power On: Press and hold the Power On/Off button until the indicator light flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
- Activate Bluetooth: On your device (smartphone, PC, tablet), enable Bluetooth.
- Select Device: In your device's Bluetooth settings, search for "TECKNET TK-HS012" (or similar) and select it to connect.
- Confirmation: Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will turn solid blue or flash blue slowly, and you may hear an audible confirmation.
4.3 Dual Device Connection
The headset supports simultaneous connection to two Bluetooth devices.
- Pair the headset with the first device as described in section 4.2.
- Disable Bluetooth on the first device. The headset will re-enter pairing mode.
- Pair the headset with the second device.
- Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The headset should automatically connect to both devices.
5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on or off.
- Volume Up (+): Press the '+' button to increase volume.
- Volume Down (-): Press the '-' button to decrease volume.
- Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function Button (MFB) once.
- Next Track: Press and hold the '+' button for 2 seconds.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the '-' button for 2 seconds.
5.2 Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function Button (MFB) once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the MFB.
- Microphone Mute: Press the dedicated Mute button on the microphone boom to mute or unmute your microphone during a call.
