Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your MERITLINE Full Storage Bed. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

Step 1: Assemble the Headboard and Footboard

Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten until the frame is complete.

Step 2: Install Center Support and Slats

Place the center support beam and attach the wooden slats across the bed frame. The slats provide direct support for your mattress and ensure proper air circulation. Secure the slats using the designated hardware.

Step 3: Assemble the Storage Drawers

Assemble the four storage drawers according to the separate instructions provided in your package. Each drawer features bottom wheels for easy movement. Once assembled, slide the drawers into their designated spaces under the bed frame.

Step 4: Final Tightening and Placement

Once all components are in place, carefully tighten all screws and bolts. Position the bed in your desired location. Ensure the bed is level and stable before placing a mattress on it.

Operation

Using the Storage Drawers

The four storage drawers are designed for convenient access to stored items. Simply pull the drawers out from under the bed using the integrated handles. The bottom wheels facilitate smooth opening and closing. Push the drawers back fully to keep them neatly tucked under the bed.

Mattress Placement

Place your full-size mattress directly onto the wooden slats. A box spring is not required for this platform bed. Recommended mattress thickness is 8 to 10 inches.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the wood surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the rattan headboard, use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove dust.
• Tightening: Periodically (every 3-6 months) check all bolts and screws and retighten them to ensure the bed remains stable and secure.
• Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the bed's weight capacity of 600 lbs (272 kg).
