1. Introduction

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Charging

1. Ensure the battery is clean and dry before charging.
2. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
3. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
4. The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes one hour.
5. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

5.2 Installing and Removing the Battery

1. To install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
2. To remove: Press the battery release button (usually located on the front or sides of the battery) and slide the battery pack out.

5.3 Installing and Removing Drill Bits

1. To install: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws. Insert the drill bit or accessory fully into the chuck. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.
2. To remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Selecting Speed

The drill features a 2-speed gearbox. Use the speed selector switch located on top of the drill:

• Position 1 (Low Speed, 0-500 RPM): Ideal for screwdriving and drilling large diameter holes in softer materials.
• Position 2 (High Speed, 0-1800 RPM): Suitable for drilling small diameter holes and for hammer drilling applications.

6.2 Adjusting Torque

The torque adjustment ring allows you to select from 20 torque settings for screwdriving, plus a drilling mode and a hammer drilling mode. Rotate the ring to the desired setting:

• Settings 1-20: For driving screws. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials; higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials.
• Drill Symbol: For general drilling without torque limitation.
• Hammer Symbol: For hammer drilling into masonry or concrete.

6.3 Selecting Operating Mode (3-in-1 Functionality)

The drill offers three primary modes:

• Drilling Mode: For drilling into wood, metal, plastic, etc.
• Screwdriving Mode: For driving and removing screws.
• Impact Drilling Mode: For drilling into hard materials like concrete or masonry.

6.4 Forward/Reverse Rotation

The forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (tightening screws, drilling) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening screws, removing bits).

6.5 Using the LED Work Light

The integrated LED work light automatically illuminates when the trigger is pressed, providing visibility in dimly lit work areas.

6.6 Using the Flexible Extension Piece

The flexible extension piece allows access to screws or drilling locations in tight or awkward spaces. Attach it to the chuck as you would a regular drill bit.
