2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Charging the Jump Starter:

Use the provided USB Type-C cable to charge the jump starter. Connect the Type-C cable to the 'Type-C Input' port on the unit and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a car's USB port. The LED indicators will show the charging progress.

The unit features a Type-C input (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A) and can be fully charged in approximately 6 hours.

2.2 Jump Starting Your Vehicle:

  1. Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% charge.
  2. Insert the blue connector of the smart battery clamp cable into the EC5 port on the jump starter. The blue light on the clamp indicator will illuminate.
  3. Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal. The clamp indicator light will turn green when correctly connected.
  4. Start your vehicle's engine.
  5. Once the engine starts, remove the jumper cables from the vehicle battery and then from the jump starter.

Force Start Function (for completely drained batteries):

If the vehicle battery is completely drained and the green light does not appear, press and hold the 'BOOST' button on the smart clamp for 2 seconds until the green light stays on. This bypasses safety checks for extremely low voltage batteries. Start the vehicle within 30 seconds. Exercise caution when using this function.

4. Maintenance

  • Store the jump starter in its carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Recharge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even if not used.
  • Clean the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Ensure the device is at least 50% charged before each use for optimal performance.

5. Troubleshooting

The smart clamp indicator lights provide feedback on potential issues:

  • Red Light Steady On: Indicates incorrect polarity connection. Reconnect clamps correctly.
  • Green Light Flashing: Indicates low battery voltage. Press the BOOST button on the smart clamp for 2 seconds until the green light stays on.
  • Neither Red nor Green Light On: Indicates the battery may be completely damaged. Ensure correct polarity connection, then press the BOOST button.
  • High Temperature (HT) Red Light: The HT red light stays on and a long alarm sound indicates high temperature. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 5 minutes before attempting to jump start again.
  • Start Timeout Protection: If the unit is connected for more than 40 seconds without starting the car, it will automatically enter standby mode. Disconnect and reconnect after 1 minute.
  • Input Low Capacity Protection: If the power of the EC5 port is lower than 13.5V, there is no output. The LC red light stays on and a long alarm sound will activate. Please charge the jump starter.

If the above solutions do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
