Before You Begin:

- Turn off the main water supply to your shower.
Installation Steps:
- Remove Existing Shower Head: Unscrew your current shower head from the shower arm. Clean any old Teflon tape or sealant from the threads.
- Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap the provided Teflon tape clockwise around the threads of your shower arm 3-4 times. This helps prevent leaks.
- Attach Shower Bracket: Screw the main shower bracket onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten first, then use an adjustable wrench for a snug fit if necessary. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Hose to Bracket: Attach the conical nut end of the 6 ft. steel hose to the outlet on the main shower bracket. Hand-tighten.
- Connect Hand Shower to Hose: Attach the hexagonal nut end of the hose to the AquaCare Magneton hand shower. Hand-tighten.
- Insert Filter Cartridge: Ensure the filter cartridge is properly seated within the hand shower. Refer to the "Filter Cartridge Reload" section for detailed instructions if needed.
- Test for Leaks: Turn on the main water supply slowly and check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten connections slightly.
- Dock Hand Shower: Utilize the magnetic docking feature by simply bringing the back of the hand shower head close to the bracket. The magnets will guide it into place.

Operating Instructions
Adjusting Spray Settings:
The AquaCare Magneton features 8 distinct spray settings. To change the spray pattern, rotate the dial on the face of the hand shower. Each click corresponds to a different setting:
- Power Rain
- Pulsating Massage
- Dual Massage
- Hydrating Mist
- Rain/Massage
- Massage/Mist
- Rain/Mist
- Pause Mode (for water conservation during lathering)
ON/OFF Filtration Modes:
Your AquaCare Magneton hand shower is equipped with a unique ON/OFF filtration bypass. This allows you to direct water flow to either pass through the filter or bypass it, extending the life of your filter cartridge.
- To Activate Filtration (ON): Rotate the knob on the side of the hand shower to the "ON" position. Water will flow through the KDF filter, purifying it.
- To Bypass Filtration (OFF): Rotate the knob to the "OFF" position. Water will bypass the filter, which is useful for tasks like rinsing the shower, shaving, or when filtered water is not required. This also helps maintain higher water pressure for these tasks.

Maintenance
Filter Cartridge Reload:
The AquaCare Magneton features an Instant Cartridge Reload design, allowing for quick and easy filter replacement without disconnecting the entire shower assembly.
- Turn Off Water: Ensure the water supply to the shower is turned off.
- Remove Old Cartridge: Locate the filter compartment on the side of the hand shower. Gently twist and pull out the old filter cartridge.
- Insert New Cartridge: Align the new AquaCare replacement filter cartridge with the opening and push it firmly into place until it clicks or feels secure.
- Test: Turn on the water supply and check for proper function and no leaks.
Recommended filter replacement frequency may vary based on water quality and usage. Typically, cartridges should be replaced every 3-6 months.

Cleaning the Shower Head:
The AquaCare Magneton features Stay-Clean Anti-Clog Nozzles. While designed to resist mineral buildup, occasional cleaning may be necessary, especially in hard water areas.
- Gently rub the rubber nozzles on the face of the shower head to dislodge any mineral deposits.
- For more stubborn buildup, soak the shower head (or just the face) in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse thoroughly.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and the Stay-Clean material.
