1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Feihe 14-inch Portable TV. This compact television is designed for versatile use in various settings such as kitchens, bedrooms, RVs, or during camping trips. It features a built-in digital ATSC tuner, allowing reception of digital and analog TV signals, and offers multiple connectivity options for enhanced entertainment.

The TV delivers clear images and rich audio through its high-definition display and built-in speakers. Its portable design includes a built-in stand for easy placement and supports 12-volt power input for use with car chargers and other portable power sources.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure the power adapter voltage matches your local power supply.
• Do not expose the TV to rain or moisture to prevent fire or electric shock.
• Avoid blocking ventilation openings. Maintain adequate space around the TV for proper airflow.
• Do not place the TV on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the TV Stand

The TV can be used with its collapsible kickstand or the included pedestal stand for flat surface viewing. For pedestal stand assembly:

1. Insert the support post of the stand directly into the square base round hole.
2. Place the round post of the support column into the back case of the TV.
3. Cover the round post of the support column with the raised cover and then lock the four screws.

4.2 Powering the TV

The Feihe 14-inch Portable TV supports two power supply modes:

• Standard Power Adapter: Connect the included power adapter to the TV's power input and a standard wall outlet.
• Car Charger Adapter (12V DC): For portable use in an RV or car, connect a 12-volt car charger adapter (6 FT cable included) to the TV's DC input.

4.3 Connecting the Antenna and Scanning Channels

To receive local free-to-air channels:

1. Connect the detachable antenna to the TV's antenna input.
2. Ensure the antenna is placed near a window or outdoors for optimal signal reception. You may need a stronger signal amplified antenna in areas with weak reception.
3. After powering on the TV, wait 7-9 seconds, then press the power button to turn it on.
4. Navigate to the 'Auto Scan' option in the TV menu to search for available digital (ATSC) and analog (NTSC) channels.

4.4 Connecting External Devices

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to effortlessly switch channels, adjust volume, and navigate through the intuitive menu system. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.

Important: The Feihe 14-inch TV only works with the included remote control. It is not compatible with any cable service provided remote or universal remotes due to different remote control codes.

5.2 USB Media Playback

Insert a USB drive (up to 256GB max) into the TV's USB port to play various media files.

• Photo File Formats: JPG, BMP

• Movie File Formats: VOB, AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, DIVX (Resolution must be within 720 x 576. H.264 is not supported)

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen and exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol sprays directly on the TV.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the TV in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Replacement: Replace remote control batteries (2 AAA) when they are depleted. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the TV and a working power outlet. If using a car charger, verify the vehicle's power source is active.
• No Signal/Poor Picture: Check antenna connection. Adjust antenna position for better reception. Perform an 'Auto Scan' for channels. Ensure external devices are correctly connected and the correct input source is selected.
• No Sound: Check volume levels on both the TV and any connected external audio devices. Ensure mute function is not activated.
• Remote Control Not Working: Check and replace batteries (2 AAA). Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's IR sensor. Remember, only the included remote is compatible.
• USB Playback Issues: Verify the USB drive is formatted correctly and the file types are supported (refer to Section 5.2). Ensure the USB drive size does not exceed 256GB.
