  • Bluetooth unlock via app

  • Temporary Passcode (OTP): Generate one-time passcodes through the app for temporary access. These codes are ideal for visitors or service personnel and can be set to expire after a single use or a specific time period.
  • Dynamic password generation on smartphone

  • Wi-Fi Remote Unlock: For remote access from anywhere, the WeHere W100 bridge (sold separately) is required. Connect the bridge to your Wi-Fi network and link it to your key box via the app. This enables remote unlocking and management.
  • Remote Wi-Fi unlock setup with WeHere bridge

4.3 Magnetic Closure

The key cabinet door frame contains magnets, ensuring the two doors automatically close when near each other. This thoughtful design helps prevent the doors from swinging open unintentionally, even if the lock mechanism is not engaged.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your key box, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

5.2 Battery Management

The keypad lock requires 2 AA alkaline batteries. The battery level can be checked within the WeHere application. Replace batteries promptly when the app indicates a low charge to ensure continuous operation and prevent being locked out. Use the emergency key if batteries deplete unexpectedly.

6. Troubleshooting

  • App Connectivity Issues: If the app fails to connect or register, try uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is active and that the key box batteries are not low. Verify that the correct country code is selected in the app during registration.
  • Keypad Not Responding: Check the battery level in the app. If batteries are low or depleted, replace them. If the keypad remains unresponsive, use the emergency physical key to open the box.
  • Door Not Locking Securely: Ensure the door is fully closed. The magnetic closure will hold the doors together, but for full security, ensure the lock mechanism is engaged by turning the knob or confirming the app indicates a locked status.
  • Keys Not Fitting: If storing larger car or truck keys, ensure you have the appropriate 'Plus' version of the key box for adequate depth. This model is designed for standard keys and some larger fobs, but very bulky items might require a different model.
