Introduction to Your Tile Mate

The Tile Mate is a versatile Bluetooth tracker designed to help you easily locate everyday items such as keys, backpacks, and purses. It offers a loud ring and extended range, allowing you to find your Tiled items by ringing the device or viewing its last known location on your smartphone. Additionally, the Tile Mate can help you find your phone, even when silenced, by simply double-pressing the Tile button. For enhanced safety, you can configure your Tile to function as an SOS button, sending a discreet alert to your Life360 Circle in unsafe situations.

Setup Guide

Download the Life360 App: The Tile Mate integrates with the free Life360 app. Download it from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
Create/Log In to Account: Open the Life360 app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in to an existing one.
Add Your Tile: Within the app, navigate to the "Add an item" section. The app will guide you through the process of pairing your Tile Mate via Bluetooth. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
Attach Your Tile: Easily attach the Mate to items like keys, backpacks, or purses using its integrated loop.

Operating Your Tile Mate

Finding Your Things

If you misplace an item with a Tile Mate attached, open the Life360 app. Select the Tile associated with the lost item and tap the "Find" button. Your Tile Mate will emit a loud ring, helping you pinpoint its location within Bluetooth range (up to 350 feet / 105 meters). You can also view its last known location on the app's map.

Finding Your Phone

Can't find your phone? No problem. Double-press the button on your Tile Mate. Your phone will ring, even if it's on silent mode, making it easy to locate.

SOS Feature

For added safety, you can set up your Tile Mate to send an SOS alert. In unsafe situations, discreetly trigger an alert to your pre-selected Life360 Circle members. This feature requires the Life360 app to be installed and an account registered.

Maintenance

Battery Life

The Tile Mate is designed for long-lasting use, with a battery life of up to 3 years. It comes with 2 Lithium Metal batteries included. The battery is integrated and not user-replaceable.

Water Resistance

The Tile Mate is water resistant with an IP68 rating, providing protection against dust and immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Troubleshooting

Tile Not Connecting: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on and the Tile Mate is within the 350-foot Bluetooth range. Close and reopen the Life360 app.
Tile Not Ringing: Check your phone's volume settings. Ensure the Tile Mate's battery is not depleted.
Location Inaccuracy: Location accuracy depends on the strength of the Bluetooth connection and the availability of other Tile users in the vicinity (for community find features). Ensure the app has location permissions enabled.
SOS Alert Not Sending: Verify that the Life360 app is installed and your account is registered. Ensure your Life360 Circle members are correctly set up and have the app installed.
