6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KiiBoom Loop 75 keyboard, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the keyboard is charged.
- Check the connectivity mode switch (Wired, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your connection method.
- For wired mode, try a different USB port or cable.
- For 2.4GHz, ensure the dongle is securely plugged in and try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and re-pair the keyboard if necessary.
- Keys not registering or double-typing:
- This could indicate a faulty switch. Since the keyboard is hot-swappable, try replacing the problematic switch with a new one.
- Ensure the switch is fully seated in the PCB.
- Clean around the switch to remove any debris.
- RGB lighting not working:
- Ensure the backlight is turned on using FN + Z.
- Check if the brightness level is set too low.
- If using VIA, ensure no custom lighting profiles are overriding the default settings.
- Bluetooth/2.4GHz connection drops frequently:
- Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
- Ensure the keyboard battery is sufficiently charged.
- Try re-pairing the device.
