Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Turn off the keyboard and mouse before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution.

  • For keyboard keys, use compressed air to remove dust and debris.

2. Battery Care

  • Recharge the devices when the battery indicator is low to prolong battery life.
  • Avoid fully discharging the batteries frequently.
  • If storing the devices for an extended period, charge them to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

1. Devices Not Connecting

  • Check Power: Ensure both the keyboard and mouse are turned on and fully charged.
  • 2.4G Connection: Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port. Ensure the keyboard is in 2.4G mode.
  • Bluetooth Connection:
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
    • Put the keyboard/mouse into pairing mode (hold B1/B2 or Bluetooth button until light flashes).
    • Remove any previous "X9 Keyboard" or "X9 Mouse" entries from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to re-pair.
    • Try pairing with another device to rule out an issue with the original device's Bluetooth.
  • Wired Connection (Keyboard): Ensure the USB-C cable is firmly connected to both the keyboard and the computer.

2. Input Lag or Disconnections

  • Interference: Move the devices closer to the receiver/computer. Avoid placing them near other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) that might cause interference.
  • Battery Level: Low battery can cause performance issues. Recharge the devices.
  • USB Port: For 2.4G, try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port, preferably a direct port on the computer rather than a hub.
  • System Resources: Close unnecessary applications on your computer that might be consuming system resources.

3. Mouse Cursor Not Moving or Erratic

  • Surface: Ensure the mouse is used on a clean, non-reflective surface.
  • Optical Sensor: Check if the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse is clean and unobstructed.
  • DPI Setting: Adjust the DPI setting to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Re-pair/Reconnect: Try turning the mouse off and on, or re-pairing it with your device.
