Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, or injury, this product must be used in accordance with the following instructions:

• Do not use while sleeping.
• Do not use directly on bare skin; always wear a piece of clothing underneath.
• Do not bunch, sit on, lay on, or squeeze the pad. Avoid sharp creases which may cause short circuits and burns.
• Do not use on an infant, invalid, or a person insensitive to heat.
• Do not use with liniment, salve, or ointment preparations, as skin burns could result.
• Do not use pins or other metallic means to fasten this pad.
• Never pull this pad by the supply cord.
• Do not use if the pad is wet.
• The control cannot be immersed in water.
• Do not machine wash frequently. Do not tumble dry or iron at high temperature.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heating pad and its accessories from the packaging.
2. Connect Power: Ensure the controller is securely connected to the heating pad. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The 9.8ft power cord allows for flexible movement.
3. Positioning: Place the heating pad on your neck and shoulders, ensuring the adhesive fabric side faces outward and the logo side faces up.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

• To Turn On: Short press the Power button () on the controller. The LED display will light up.
• To Turn Off: Long press the Power button until the display turns off.

Adjusting Heat Settings:

• Short press the Temperature Level Selection button () to cycle through 6 heating levels (L1-L6). The display will show the current heating level.

Setting the Timer:

• Short press the Timing Selection button () to select the auto-off timer duration: 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours. The display will show the selected time.
• The screen will auto-off after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy.

Wearing Instructions

The Comfytemp Weighted Heating Pad is designed for a secure and comfortable fit, ensuring the heat is applied effectively to your neck, shoulders, and upper back. The weighted nature helps the pad conform to your body.

Adjustable Collar:

• The collar features high-quality sticky cloth and Velcro for flexible adjustment. Adjust the collar to fit snugly around your neck without causing discomfort or strangulation. The circumference of the collar is 19–26 inches.

Using Elastic Straps:

• The heating pad includes 2 elastic straps with Velcro and 2 additional elastic extenders for various wearing configurations.
• To Secure: Adjust the weighted heat pad to the most comfortable and fitting position. Use the elastic straps to help secure it and better conform to your body.
• Wearing Options: The straps can be used in multiple ways:
• Straps on chest (straight across or crossed)
• Straps on waist
• Under arm (using extenders for larger body shapes)
• Avoid tightening the straps too much, as this could cause discomfort and affect the neck fit.

Maintenance & Care

Proper care will extend the life of your Comfytemp Weighted Heating Pad.

• Cleaning: The classic gray flannel fabric is machine-washable.
• Before Washing: Ensure the control unit is detached from the heating pad. The control unit cannot be immersed in water.
• Washing Instructions: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
• Spot Cleaning: You can also spot clean using a damp washcloth for minor spills.
• Drying: Do not tumble dry or iron at high temperature. Air dry completely before re-using or storing.
• Frequency: Since it has built-in heating wires, please do not machine wash it frequently.

Troubleshooting

• Pad Not Heating Sufficiently: Ceramic beads absorb heat before releasing it. If the pad does not feel hot enough immediately, please use it for a bit longer. It may take a few minutes to reach the desired temperature.
• Pad Not Turning On: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet and the controller is firmly connected to the pad. Check if the power button has been pressed correctly.
• Pad Shuts Off Unexpectedly: Verify the auto-off timer setting. The pad is designed to shut off automatically after 1, 2, or 3 hours depending on your selection. If it shuts off prematurely, ensure there are no sharp creases or bunching that could trigger the overheat protection.
