Important Safeguards

Before First Use

  1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the kettle and power base.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base with a damp cloth.
  3. Fill the kettle with water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residue and ensure optimal taste.

Setup

  1. Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Ensure the power cord is fully extended and plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. The kettle is cordless and can be placed on the power base from any angle (360-degree rotational base).

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Kettle

  • Press the lid release button to open the lid.
  • Fill the kettle with fresh cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX (1.7L) mark indicated on the glass body. Overfilling may cause boiling water to spill out.
  • Close the lid securely until it clicks into place.
  • Place the kettle firmly on the power base.

2. Powering On/Off and Temperature Control

  • Once the kettle is on the power base, the digital display will illuminate.
  • To Boil Water (212°F / 100°C): Press the power button (U) once. The kettle will begin heating to 212°F and automatically shut off once boiling is complete.
  • To Select a Preset Temperature: The kettle offers 4 preset heating programs for precise temperature control. Touch the desired temperature icon on the digital panel:
    • 104°F (40°C): Ideal for formula milk.
    • 158°F (70°C): Suitable for honey water or delicate teas.
    • 176°F (80°C): Recommended for green tea.
    • 194°F (90°C): Perfect for coffee or black tea.
    The kettle will heat to the selected temperature and then automatically switch to the Keep Warm function.
  • To Stop Heating: Press the power button (U) again at any time to stop the heating process.

3. Keep Warm Function

  • After reaching a preset temperature, the kettle will automatically activate the Keep Warm function, maintaining the water temperature for up to 2 hours.
  • To manually activate the Keep Warm function after boiling (212°F), press the Keep Warm button (SSS). The kettle will maintain the water at 212°F for 2 hours.
  • To deactivate the Keep Warm function, press the Keep Warm button (SSS) or the power button (U).

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Interior: The kettle is designed for hand washing. Rinse the interior with water. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush or sponge with mild dish soap. Ensure all soap residue is thoroughly rinsed.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
    • Fill the kettle with 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes.
    • Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
    • For heavy buildup, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
  • Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or any other liquid.

Troubleshooting
