3.1 Pre-Installation
- Measure your cabinet space to ensure the 36-inch hood fits (Product Dimensions: 17.5"D x 35.9"W x 4.7"H).
- Determine if you will use top venting (round/rectangular air outlet) or back venting (rectangular air outlet).
- For ductless operation, ensure the recirculation sheet is properly installed (included). Charcoal filters are sold separately (#FGS-TF39-LW).

4.1 Fan Operation
The exhaust fan has two speed settings to effectively remove smoke and odors.
- Low Speed: Ideal for light cooking and simmering.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.
5.1 Cleaning Aluminum Mesh Filters
The multi-layer aluminum mesh filters are designed to trap grease and oil. They are dishwasher safe and reusable.
- Turn off the power to the range hood at the circuit breaker.
- Remove the filters by gently pushing the latch and pulling them down.
- Wash the filters in a dishwasher or by hand using warm, soapy water.
- Allow filters to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Reinstall the filters by aligning them and pushing them into place until the latch clicks.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the range hood with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the white painted stainless steel finish.
