8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your dimmer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lights do not turn on. | No power supply, incorrect wiring, faulty bulb. | Check circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections (L1, L2, N). Test with a known working bulb. |
| Lights flicker or buzz. | Incompatible LED bulbs, load too low/high, minimum brightness not adjusted. | Ensure LED bulbs are dimmable. Check total wattage is within 3-200W. Adjust the 'MIN' screw on the dimmer. |
| Dimmer does not dim smoothly. | Incompatible LED bulbs, load issues. | Ensure LED bulbs are designed for phase-cut dimming. Verify load is within specified range. |
| Dimmer feels warm. | Normal operation, or overload. | A slight warmth is normal during operation. If it's excessively hot, check for overload (total wattage exceeding 200W). Disconnect power and consult an electrician if unsure. |
