Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge your HYDRATREK speaker. The speaker uses a USB-C port for quick charging.
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the speaker. It is typically covered by a waterproof flap.
- Carefully open the waterproof flap.
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
- After charging, ensure the waterproof flap is securely closed to maintain the speaker's IP67 rating.

- To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (indicated by a blinking LED light, typically blue). If not, press and hold the Bluetooth button (if available, or the Power button if it doubles as pairing) to enter pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices. You should see "Altec Lansing HYDRATREK" or a similar name in the list.
- Select the speaker from the list to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will typically turn solid blue, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
4. True Wireless Pairing (TWS)
To achieve stereo sound, you can pair two HYDRATREK speakers together.
- Ensure both HYDRATREK speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be your primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (if available, or a combination of buttons as per specific model instructions).
- The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once found, they will automatically connect, and you will hear a confirmation tone. The LED indicators on both speakers will confirm the TWS connection.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.
5. Mounting Options
The HYDRATREK speaker offers versatile mounting options:
- Magnetic Attachment: The speaker has a strong built-in magnet on its base, allowing it to securely attach to any metal surface.
