Front Panel Controls:

• Time/LED Button: Adjusts time, date, and LED display brightness.

Setup

1. Power Connection: Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
2. Smartset Automatic Time Setting: Upon initial power-up, the Smartset technology will automatically set the correct year, month, date, day, and time. No manual adjustment is typically required for basic timekeeping.
3. Retractable Charging Pads:
   • For the earbud charging pad, gently pull out the tray on the left side of the unit.
   • For the watch charging stand, lift the stand from the top center of the unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Time and Date (Manual Override)

While Smartset technology automatically sets the time, you can manually adjust it if needed.

1. Press and hold the CLOCK SET button until the display flashes.
2. Use the TUNE- or TUNE+ buttons to adjust the hour, then press CLOCK SET to confirm.
3. Repeat for minutes, year, month, and date.
4. Press CLOCK SET again to exit.

2. Alarm Settings

The unit features two independent alarms (AL1 and AL2).

1. Press and hold the AL1 or AL2 button until the alarm time flashes.
2. Use TUNE- or TUNE+ to set the desired alarm time, then press the respective alarm button to confirm.
3. Select the alarm source (Buzzer or FM Radio) and alarm volume using the TUNE- or TUNE+ buttons, confirming each selection.
4. Press the alarm button again to exit.
5. To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the AL1 or AL2 button briefly. An indicator will appear on the display when active.
6. When an alarm sounds, press SNOOZE for a temporary pause, or press the respective alarm button to turn it off.

3. FM Radio Operation

1. Press the FM button (if available, or cycle through modes until FM is selected).
2. Use TUNE- or TUNE+ to manually tune to a station. Press and hold for automatic scanning.
3. To save a preset: Tune to the desired station, press and hold MEM / M until "PXX" flashes, then use TUNE- or TUNE+ to select a preset number. Press MEM / M again to save.
4. To recall a preset: Briefly press MEM / M, then use TUNE- or TUNE+ to select the preset.
5. Adjust volume using VOL- or VOL+.

4. Bluetooth Operation

Pair your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device to stream audio wirelessly.

1. Press the MODE button (if available, or cycle through modes) until "BT" appears on the display, indicating Bluetooth mode. The unit will automatically enter pairing mode, and "BT" will flash.
2. On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Emerson CKSW5010" from the list. Once paired, "BT" will stop flashing and remain solid.
4. You can now play audio from your device through the clock radio.
5. Adjust volume using VOL- or VOL+ on the unit or your connected device.

5. Charging Functions

The Emerson CKSW5010 offers multiple ways to charge your devices.

• 15W Wireless Charging (Top Pad): Place your Qi-compatible smartphone on the top charging pad. Ensure it is centered for optimal charging. The lift-up stand allows for viewing while charging.
• 3W Wireless Charging (Retractable Side Pad): Pull out the side tray and place your AirPods (or other compatible earbuds) charging case on the pad.
• USB Type-C and Type-A Charging (Rear Ports): Connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate USB port on the back of the unit. These ports provide power for charging.
• Watch Charging (Retractable Stand): Lift the watch charging stand. Note that this stand provides a place for your watch but typically requires you to insert your own watch charger cable into the stand's designated slot to charge your smartwatch.

Note: Charging speed may vary depending on the device and cable used. Ensure your device supports wireless charging for the wireless pads.

6. Display Dimmer and Night LED

• Briefly press the Time/LED button to cycle through the 4 levels of display brightness (Bright, Moderate, Dim, Faint).
• Press and hold the Time/LED button to cycle through the 2 levels of Cyan Night LED brightness or turn it off.

7. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to music or radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period.

1. While playing FM radio or Bluetooth audio, press the SNOOZE / CHARGE / SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
2. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Dust: Keep the unit free from dust, especially around ventilation openings.
• Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
