2. Vacuuming and Mopping Functions

The M320G combines sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping. It features a unique magnetic mop holder with a honeycomb texture design for effective dust and hair adsorption. You can use disposable face towels or a mop cloth with the holder.

  • Vacuum Mode: Automatically enhances suction power on carpets for a deeper clean. Note: Remove the mop attachment when vacuuming carpets.
  • Mop Mode: Intuitively avoids carpeted areas to prevent wetting.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Dustbin and Filters

The M320G is equipped with an 800ml transparent visual dust box and a HEPA filter system. Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining optimal suction power and preventing secondary pollution.

  1. Take out the dust bin from the robot.
  2. Open the dust bin latch and dump the garbage into a trash can.
  3. Remove the filter assembly (pre-filter and HEPA filter).
  4. Clean the pre-filter by tapping it gently to remove dust. The metal pre-filter can be washed with water.
  5. Clean the HEPA filter by tapping it gently to remove dust. Important: The HEPA filter should not touch water.
  6. Reassemble the filters and dustbin, then reinsert into the robot.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Lefant M320G.

Common Questions & Solutions

  • Q: Can the M320 robot vacuum work with a 5GHz Wi-Fi network?
A: Most robot vacuums, including the M320, only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. All routers are equipped with the 2.4GHz frequency band.
  • Q: Does the M320 robot vacuum cleaner have a mapping feature?
A: Since the M320 is not equipped with LiDAR, it does not support mapping. However, you can see real-time sweeping on the app.
  • Q: Is the M320 suitable for families with pets?
A: Yes. The M320 is perfect for families with pets because it uses a brushless suction port instead of a main brush. The benefit of a brushless suction port is that it doesn't tangle with hair, so you don't have to worry about maintaining a main brush.
  • Q: What are the advantages of the Lefant M320 over a robot vacuum with a water tank?
A: The Lefant M320 robot vacuum has advantages over water tank models, including no frequent cleaning, avoiding bacterial growth, and better carpet protection (when using the mop holder).
  • Q: Is it possible to set up barriers or exclusion zones with the Lefant M320?
A: Yes, but in a different way. When you use the mop holder during the sweeping process, it automatically avoids carpets. So, if you place a rug in an area you don't want to be swept, the robot vacuum will avoid that area by default.
  • Q: Can the M320 mop holder use a washcloth instead of disposable face towelette?
A: Yes, you can use a washcloth with the M320 mop holder in addition to disposable face towelette. Ensure that the washcloth is securely attached and fits properly for effective cleaning.
