5. Setup Guide
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the record player from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
- Place the Unit: Position the record player on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive dust.
- Connect Power: Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit. Plug the other end of the adapter into a wall outlet.
- Remove Stylus Protector: Gently remove the white plastic stylus protector from the needle. Be careful not to bend the stylus.
- Prepare for Playback: If playing 7-inch records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Playing Vinyl Records (Phono Mode)
- Open the lid of the record player.
- Place a vinyl record on the platter. If it's a 7-inch record, use the 45 RPM adapter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the turntable.
- Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn on the unit and set to a low volume.
- Set the Function Switch to 'PHONO'.
- Release the tonearm lock.
- Gently lift the tonearm using the cue lever and position the stylus over the desired track of the record.
- Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record using the cue lever. The record will begin to play.
- Adjust the volume to your desired level.
- When the record finishes playing, the tonearm will automatically return to its rest (auto-stop function). Lift the tonearm, return it to the rest, and secure the tonearm lock.

6.2. Bluetooth Mode
The Mersoco M435 can receive audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled devices.
- Turn on the record player using the Power/Volume knob.
- Set the Function Switch to 'BT' (Bluetooth). You will hear an audible tone indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
- Search for 'Mersoco' or 'M435' in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
- Once paired, you will hear another confirmation tone. You can now play music from your device through the record player's speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the Power/Volume knob on the record player or from your connected device.

6.3. AUX-in Mode
Connect external audio devices (e.g., MP3 players, non-Bluetooth phones) using a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Turn on the record player.
- Set the Function Switch to 'AUX'.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX-in jack on the back of the record player.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone or audio output jack of your external device.
- Play audio from your external device. The sound will be routed through the record player's speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the Power/Volume knob on the record player or from your external device.

6.4. RCA Line-Out
Connect your record player to an external amplifier or powered speakers for enhanced sound output.
- Ensure the record player is turned off.
- Connect an RCA cable (not included) to the RCA Line-Out jacks (Red for Right, White for Left) on the back of the record player.
- Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the audio input of your external amplifier or powered speakers.
- Turn on the record player and your external audio system.
- Play a record or use Bluetooth/AUX-in mode. The audio will now play through your external system.
- Adjust the volume primarily from your external audio system.
6.5. Headphone Jack
For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack located on the front of the unit. The built-in speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
7. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- Cleaning Records: Always handle records by the edges. Clean records regularly with a soft, anti-static brush to remove dust and debris.
- Stylus Care: The stylus is delicate. Avoid touching it with your fingers. Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front. A worn stylus can damage records and produce poor sound quality. Replace the stylus approximately every 200-300 hours of play.
- Storage: When not in use, close the lid to protect the turntable from dust. If storing for an extended period, unplug the power adapter and re-attach the stylus protector.
