Introduction
The Dewjom Wireless Meat Thermometer is designed to provide accurate temperature readings for various meats during cooking. This digital thermometer features a wireless probe, a signal booster for extended range, and a companion app for iOS and Android devices, allowing for remote monitoring and precise temperature control. It is suitable for use with BBQs, ovens, grills, and smokers.

Setup
- Charge the Device: Before first use, ensure the host unit is fully charged using the provided USB charging cable. The charging port is located on the side of the host unit.
- Download the App: Scan the QR code in the included user manual or search for the "JOYBIBIQ" app on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- Power On: Remove the probe from the host unit. The host unit will automatically power on.
- Pair with Smartphone: Open the "JOYBIBIQ" app on your smartphone. The app will automatically detect and pair with the host unit via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Probe Insertion: Insert the metal probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone. Ensure the probe is inserted up to the marked line on the probe for accurate temperature readings.

Operating Instructions
- Place the Host Unit: Position the host unit within 5 feet of the cooking appliance (grill, oven, smoker) to maintain a strong connection with the probe. The host unit has a magnetic back for convenient placement.
- Monitor via App: Use the "JOYBIBIQ" app to monitor the current internal temperature of your meat. The app displays real-time temperature updates.
- Select Meat Type/Doneness: Within the app, select the type of meat you are cooking. Choose from pre-programmed settings for desired doneness (e.g., rare, medium, well-done). The app will automatically set the target temperature.
- Set Custom Temperature (Optional): If desired, you can manually set a custom target temperature using the app or the buttons on the host unit. Use the up/down arrows on the host unit to adjust the set temperature.
- Temperature Alerts: The app will send notifications to your smartphone when the meat reaches the target temperature. The host unit will also beep.
- Timer Function: Utilize the built-in timer function within the app for additional cooking control.
- Change Temperature Units: Press the “F/C” button on the host unit to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius display. This setting can also be adjusted within the app.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: The probe is IPX65 waterproof and can be rinsed under running water. Wipe the host unit clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the host unit in water.
- Charging: Recharge the host unit when the battery indicator on the display or app shows low power. Use the provided USB charging cable.
- Storage: Store the probe securely within the host unit when not in use. Keep the device in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
- No Connection/Signal Loss: Ensure the host unit is within 5 feet of the cooking appliance and your smartphone is within the 500ft range of the host unit. Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the app is open.
- Inaccurate Readings: Verify that the probe is inserted correctly into the thickest part of the meat, past the marked line, and not touching any bone.
- Device Not Powering On: Check the battery level of the host unit and recharge if necessary.
