5. Installation Instructions
The LIDER Recessed Outlet Station is designed for easy integration into various furniture pieces. Ensure the installation location allows the 6.5 ft power cord to reach a wall outlet.
5.1. Required Tools (Not Included)
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Pencil or marker
- Jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool for your material (wood, laminate, etc.)
- Screwdriver
5.2. Installation Steps
- Measure and Mark: Carefully measure the dimensions for the cutout. The recessed part of the unit requires a hole width of 1.81 inches and a hole length of 3.93 inches. It is recommended to mark these dimensions precisely on your desired surface. Note that the back of the unit tapers slightly, so allow a small margin for a proper fit.
- Cut the Opening: Using an appropriate cutting tool, create the opening based on your markings. Ensure the edges are clean and smooth.
- Insert the Unit: Gently insert the LIDER Recessed Outlet Station into the cutout. The faceplate should sit flush with the surface.
- Secure the Unit: Use the provided mounting screws to secure the unit to the surface through the screw holes on the faceplate.
- Connect to Power: Plug the 6.5 ft power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.

6.1. AC Outlets
The two standard AC outlets provide power for devices requiring up to 1500W total. These outlets are Tamper-Resistant for enhanced safety.
6.2. USB Charging Ports
The unit features one USB-A port and two USB-C ports for charging mobile devices, tablets, and other USB-powered electronics.
- USB Type-C1 (PD): This port supports Power Delivery (PD) up to 30W, enabling faster charging for compatible devices like smartphones and laptops.
