- Installation Instructions
Note: A drain assembly is not included with this faucet and must be purchased separately. Refer to Delta model RP101630 for a coordinating finish.
Installation Instructions
Pre-Installation
- Turn off the main water supply to the bathroom.
- Clear the area under the sink for easy access.
- Remove the old faucet, if applicable. Clean the sink surface thoroughly.
- Ensure your sink has either a single hole or a 3-hole configuration. The included deck plate is used for 3-hole installations.
Faucet Installation
- For 3-Hole Sinks: Place the deck plate over the sink holes. Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the deck plate to prevent water seepage.
- Insert Faucet: Feed the integrated supply lines and the mounting shank of the faucet through the hole(s) in the sink/deck plate.
- Secure Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber gasket, metal washer, and mounting nut onto the threaded shank. Hand-tighten the mounting nut, then use a basin wrench to firmly secure the faucet. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect the integrated PEX supply lines to your hot and cold water supply valves. The flexible PEX lines are designed to resist cracks, kinks, and corrosion, simplifying connection. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Test Faucet: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check for any leaks at all connections. Operate the faucet handle to flush out any debris from the lines.

Operating Your Faucet
The Delta Stryke faucet features a single handle for controlling both water flow and temperature.
- Water Flow: Lift the handle upwards to increase water flow. Push the handle downwards to decrease or turn off the water flow.
- Temperature Control: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. Adjust the handle position to achieve the desired water temperature.
This faucet incorporates Delta's DIAMOND Seal Technology, which uses a ceramic disc valve with a diamond coating. This design ensures a leak-free operation for the life of the faucet and provides precise control over water flow and temperature.

Care and Maintenance
Proper care will help maintain the finish and performance of your Delta faucet.
- Cleaning the Finish: Clean the Venetian Bronze finish with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes, as these can damage the finish and void your warranty.
- Aerator Maintenance: If water flow decreases, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the end of the spout, clean any debris, and rinse thoroughly before reattaching.
- Leak Prevention: The DIAMOND Seal Technology is designed for long-lasting, leak-free performance. If you notice any persistent drips or leaks, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, review these common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Flow | Clogged aerator; partially closed supply valves. | Clean aerator. Ensure supply valves are fully open. |
| Faucet Drips/Leaks | Loose connections; debris in valve. | Check and tighten all water supply connections. Flush lines. If problem persists, contact Delta support. |
| No Hot/Cold Water | Supply valve closed; cross-connection issue. | Ensure hot/cold supply valves are open. Consult a plumber if cross-connection is suspected. |
