  • KG-10 BT/AUX VOL: Controls the volume of Bluetooth and AUX input audio.
  • GAIN: Adjusts the amount of gain (pre-amplification) for your guitar signal. Higher gain settings produce more distortion.
  • TONE: Adjusts the tonal characteristics of your guitar sound, from darker to brighter.
  • VOL: Controls the overall output volume of the guitar signal. This knob also serves as the power ON/OFF switch (turn clockwise to power on, counter-clockwise past minimum to power off).
  • CLEAN / DRIVE Switch: Toggles between the clean channel (green LED indicator) and the overdrive/distortion channel (red LED indicator).
  • INPUT: 1/4-inch (6.35mm) jack for connecting your electric guitar.
  • HEADPHONE: 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones for silent practice.
  • AUX IN: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio devices (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) via an AUX cable.
  • USB-C Charging Port: For connecting the USB charging cable.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Amplifier

Before first use, fully charge the amplifier. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the amplifier and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to the LED indicator section for details). A full charge provides approximately 3-4 hours of continuous playtime.

5.2 Connecting Your Guitar

  1. Ensure the amplifier is powered off (VOL knob turned fully counter-clockwise).
  2. Connect one end of a standard 1/4-inch (6.35mm) instrument cable to your electric guitar.
  3. Connect the other end of the instrument cable to the INPUT jack on the amplifier.

5.3 Connecting via Bluetooth

  1. Power on the amplifier by turning the VOL knob clockwise.
  2. The amplifier will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED, refer to LED indicator section).
  3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select "POGOLAB KG-10" from the list to pair. Once connected, the LED indicator will become solid.
  5. Adjust the Bluetooth audio volume using the BT/AUX VOL knob on the amplifier and the volume controls on your connected device.

5.4 Connecting via AUX Input

  1. Power on the amplifier.
  2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm AUX cable to your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
  3. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the AUX IN jack on the amplifier.
  4. Adjust the AUX audio volume using the BT/AUX VOL knob on the amplifier and the volume controls on your connected device.

5.5 Using Headphones

  1. Connect your headphones to the HEADPHONE jack on the amplifier.
  2. When headphones are connected, the internal speaker will be muted, allowing for silent practice.
  3. Adjust the guitar volume using the VOL knob and the backing track volume (if applicable) using the BT/AUX VOL knob.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the amplifier, turn the VOL knob clockwise from its minimum position. To power off, turn the VOL knob fully counter-clockwise until it clicks.

6.2 Selecting Channels (Clean/Drive)

The KG-10 amplifier features two distinct channels: Clean and Drive (Overdrive/Distortion).

  1. Press the CLEAN / DRIVE switch to toggle between the channels.
  2. When the green LED is illuminated, the amplifier is in Clean mode, providing a clear, uncolored guitar tone.
  3. When the red LED is illuminated, the amplifier is in Drive mode, adding overdrive and distortion to your guitar sound.

6.3 Adjusting Guitar Tone and Volume

  • GAIN: Experiment with the GAIN knob to achieve your desired level of pre-amplification and distortion, especially in Drive mode.
  • TONE: Use the TONE knob to shape the brightness or warmth of your guitar sound.
  • VOL: Adjust the main output volume of your guitar. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to a comfortable level.

6.4 Using Bluetooth/AUX for Backing Tracks

Once your device is connected via Bluetooth or AUX, you can play music through the amplifier's speakers. Adjust the volume of the backing track using the BT/AUX VOL knob and your connected device's volume controls. This allows you to balance the volume of your guitar with the backing track for an optimal practice experience.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the amplifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the amplifier.

7.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the amplifier regularly, even if not in frequent use.
  • Store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
  • If the amplifier will not be used for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% before storage.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound from Guitar:
    • Ensure the amplifier is powered on and the VOL knob is not at minimum.
    • Check that your guitar cable is securely connected to both the guitar and the amplifier's INPUT jack.
    • Verify that your guitar's volume knob is turned up.
    • If headphones are plugged in, unplug them to check the main speaker.
  • No Sound from Bluetooth/AUX:
    • Ensure the amplifier is powered on.
    • Check that your device is properly paired via Bluetooth or the AUX cable is securely connected.
    • Increase the BT/AUX VOL knob on the amplifier and the volume on your connected device.
  • Poor Sound Quality / Distortion (unwanted):
    • If in Clean mode, reduce the GAIN knob.
    • Check your guitar cable for damage.
    • Ensure the amplifier's battery is sufficiently charged. Low battery can affect sound quality.
  • Bluetooth Disconnection:
    • Ensure your Bluetooth device is within range (typically 10 meters/33 feet).
    • Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
    • Restart both the amplifier and your Bluetooth device.
