1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Jocca Domestic Ice Maker. This appliance is designed to provide a convenient and efficient way to produce ice cubes for your home. Please read this manual carefully before operating the ice maker to ensure proper use, optimal performance, and safety. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Ensure the voltage of the appliance matches your local power supply.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Always unplug the appliance when not in use, before cleaning, or before adding/removing parts.
- This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use it outdoors.
- Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Only use potable water in the ice maker.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
- Check the contents to ensure all parts are present: ice maker unit, ice basket, and ice scoop.
4.2 Placement
Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface, away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., oven, stove, refrigerator). Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clearance around the sides and back for proper ventilation.

4.3 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker:
- Open the transparent lid and remove the ice basket.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Allow the unit to air dry completely before use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Filling the Water Reservoir
- Ensure the drain plug at the bottom of the unit is securely closed.
- Open the transparent lid and remove the ice basket.
- Pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Replace the ice basket and close the lid.
5.2 Powering On and Selecting Ice Size
- Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn on the appliance. The 'POWER' indicator will illuminate.
- Press the 'SELECT' button to choose your desired ice cube size: 'SMALL' or 'LARGE'. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
5.3 Ice Production Cycle
The ice maker will begin its first ice-making cycle. Each cycle takes approximately 6-12 minutes, producing 9 ice cubes per cycle. The first few batches of ice may be smaller or irregular due to air in the system. Discard the first 2-3 batches of ice.

5.4 Indicators
- 'ADD WATER' Indicator: This light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low. The ice maker will stop production. Refill the reservoir to resume operation.
- 'ICE FULL' Indicator: This light will illuminate when the ice basket is full. The ice maker will stop production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
5.5 Using the Ice Scoop
Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket. Do not use your hands or other utensils to avoid contamination or damage to the unit.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Unplug the ice maker.
- Remove the ice basket and empty any remaining ice.
- Drain any remaining water from the reservoir by opening the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
- Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and warm water.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
6.2 Self-Cleaning Function
The Jocca Ice Maker is equipped with a self-cleaning system. Refer to your specific model's instructions for activating this feature. Typically, it involves filling the reservoir with water and a small amount of vinegar or a specialized cleaning solution, then initiating a cleaning cycle via the control panel.
6.3 Storage
If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period:
- Perform a thorough cleaning as described above.
- Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing.
- Store the ice maker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
