4. Setup
4.1 Powering the Device
Your boombox can be powered by AC electricity or batteries for portability.
- AC Power: Connect the included AC power cable to the AC input jack on the unit and then to a standard wall outlet.
- Battery Power: For portable use, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit and insert 6 C-size batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity. The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (included).

- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.

- Insert a blank cassette tape.
- Press the Record (REC) button. The Play button will also engage automatically.

- Press the Stop button to end recording.

- Extend the telescopic antenna.
- Press the Function/Mode button to select AM or FM Radio mode. The LCD display will show the frequency.
