Setup and First Use

3. Add Fuel:
Use fresh, clean, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. The fuel tank capacity is approximately 1.18 Imperial Gallons. Do not fill above the maximum fill line. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened after filling.
CAUTION: Do not use E85 or any gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol.
4. Positioning the Generator:
Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, away from any combustible materials and at least 20 feet from any building openings.
Operating Instructions
Starting the Engine:
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
- Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
- Move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position (if engine is cold).
- Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Pull the recoil start handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
- Allow the generator to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
Connecting Electrical Loads:
- Plug in your appliances or extension cords into the appropriate outlets (e.g., Duplex Plug, 3-Prong RV Plug, USB ports).
- Do not exceed the generator's rated running wattage (4000 Watts) or peak wattage (5000 Watts).

Stopping the Engine:

- Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
