Setup and Installation
Package Contents
Before beginning installation, please verify all components are present:
- 10.36 Inch Monitor x1
- Camera x4
- Camera extension cable x4
- Power Cord x1
- Bracket x1
- 128GB TF Card x1
Power Connection
The system is powered directly by your vehicle. Ensure the fuse box for installation has a rating of 20A or higher. The power cord includes three main wires: red (ACC), yellow (constant power), and black (ground).
- Connect the red wire (ACC) to a power source that is active when the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Connect the yellow wire (constant power) to a constant 12V-36V power source (e.g., directly to the battery positive terminal). This ensures continuous recording even when the ignition is off (for parking monitoring).
- Connect the black wire (ground) to the vehicle's chassis or battery negative terminal.
Important: Use a test light to identify the correct power sources in your vehicle's fuse box. Vehicle wiring modules vary, so consult your vehicle's specific wiring diagram if needed.

Camera Installation
The system includes four waterproof cameras designed for front, rear, and side mounting. Connect each camera to the monitor using the provided extension cables. The wired camera system ensures stable signal transmission without interference.
- Front Camera: Mount in a position that provides a clear view of the road ahead.
- Rear Camera: Mount at the rear of the vehicle for backup assistance. This camera supports an adjustable reversing line.
- Side Cameras (Left & Right): Mount on each side of the vehicle to eliminate blind spots. These cameras can be configured for trigger display, automatically switching to full screen when the corresponding turn signal is activated.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ASLONG Dash Cam system, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Regularly check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
- Keep the camera lenses and monitor screen clean using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Periodically format the TF card to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important footage before formatting.
- Ensure the system operates within the specified temperature range (-20℃ to 60℃) to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ASLONG Dash Cam system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
No Power to Monitor / System Not Turning On
- Check Fuse Box: Ensure the fuse connected to the power supply (red and yellow wires) is rated at 20A or higher and is not blown.
- Verify Connections: Confirm that the red (ACC), yellow (constant power), and black (ground) wires are securely connected to their respective power sources. Use a test light to verify power at each connection point.
- Ignition Status: If the monitor only turns on with the ignition, check the ACC wire connection. If constant power is desired, ensure the yellow wire is connected to a constant 12V-36V source.

Figure 9: Troubleshooting guide for power connection, highlighting the importance of correct fuse box wiring for the yellow (ACC) and red/white (constant power) wires.
Camera Feed Issues (No Signal, Blurry Image)
- Cable Connection: Ensure all camera extension cables are firmly connected to both the cameras and the monitor.
- Lens Cleanliness: Clean camera lenses to remove dirt or debris that may cause blurriness.
- Camera Functionality: If a specific camera is not working, try swapping its connection with a known working camera to isolate the issue to either the camera or the cable.
Recording Problems
- TF Card: Ensure the 128GB TF card is properly inserted and not full. Format the card if necessary.
- Loop Recording: Confirm loop recording is enabled in the settings if you expect continuous recording.
