1. Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before operating the coffee maker.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or coffee maker in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- This appliance has a European plug. An appropriate adapter is required for use in regions with different electrical outlets.

3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the coffee maker.
- Ensure all components listed in the "Product Overview" section are present.
- Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources.
3.2 Initial Cleaning and Priming
- Wash the water tank, drip tray, and all capsule/ground coffee adapters with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Fill the water tank (600 ml capacity) with fresh, clean water up to the MAX level.
- Place the water tank back onto the machine securely.
- Ensure the drip tray is in place. Place an empty cup (at least 200ml) on the drip tray.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Note: This appliance has a European plug; use an appropriate adapter if necessary.
- Press the Power button to turn on the machine. The indicator lights will flash as the machine heats up.
- Once the lights stop flashing and remain steady, the machine is ready.
- Without any capsule or ground coffee in the brewing head, press the brew button (usually the largest cup icon) to run a full cycle of hot water through the machine. This primes the pump and cleans the internal system.
- Repeat the hot water cycle 2-3 times.
- Discard the water from the cup and the drip tray. The machine is now ready for use.
Note: If the water tank runs dry during operation, the pump may need to be primed again by running a hot water cycle without a capsule.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 General Brewing Steps
- Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
- Plug in the machine and press the Power button. Wait for the indicator lights to become steady, indicating the machine is heated.
- Select the appropriate adapter for your chosen coffee type (capsule or ground coffee).
- Insert the capsule or ground coffee into the adapter, then insert the adapter into the brewing head. Close the brewing head lever firmly.
- Place your cup on the drip tray.
- Select your desired cup size/brew button. The machine will start brewing.
- Once brewing is complete, the machine will stop automatically.
- Carefully open the brewing head lever and remove the used capsule/ground coffee adapter. Dispose of the used capsule/grounds.
- Enjoy your coffee.
4.2 Using Different Adapters
The HiBREW H1B-White comes with multiple adapters for various coffee types:
- Nespresso Compatible Capsule Adapter: For Nespresso-style capsules.
- Dolce Gusto Compatible Capsule Adapter: For Dolce Gusto-style capsules.
- K-Cup Compatible Capsule Adapter: For K-Cup style pods.
- ESE Pod Adapter: For Easy Serving Espresso (ESE) pods.
- Ground Coffee Adapter: For your favorite ground coffee or tea leaves. Fill with desired amount, do not overfill or tamp too hard.
Important: Always ensure the correct adapter is used and properly seated before closing the brewing head lever. For optimal results, use fresh, quality ingredients.

4.3 Temperature Adjustment
The HiBREW H1B-White allows for temperature adjustment. Refer to the control panel for specific temperature setting buttons or combinations. Typically, a dedicated button or a combination of brew buttons pressed for a few seconds will cycle through available temperature options. The indicator light will change to reflect the selected temperature.
Note: The machine's water quantity settings are fixed in 30ml increments and cannot be customized beyond the pre-set options for each brew button.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 Daily Cleaning
- After each use: Remove and empty the used capsule/ground coffee adapter. Rinse it under running water.
- Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray and its cover daily.
- Water Tank: Empty any remaining water from the tank and rinse it. Refill with fresh water before next use.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the machine in water.
5.2 Descaling
Descaling is essential to remove mineral deposits and ensure optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage, but generally every 3-6 months.
- Empty the water tank and remove any capsule/adapter from the brewing head.
- Fill the water tank with a descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar and water, or a commercial descaling agent) according to the descaling product's instructions.
- Place a large container (at least 600ml) under the coffee spout.
- Turn on the machine and allow it to heat up.
- Run several brew cycles (without a capsule) until the water tank is empty.
- Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water.
- Run several full cycles of fresh water through the machine to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
- Discard the water from the container and drip tray.
Caution: Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials for descaling or cleaning, as they can damage the machine.
6. Troubleshooting
