4. Camera Overview

Familiarize yourself with the camera's components and controls.

4.1. Controls and Ports

  • Shutter Button: Press to capture photos or start/stop video recording.
  • Power On/Off Button: Press and hold to turn the camera on or off.
  • Flashlight: Provides illumination in low-light conditions.
  • SOS Button: Activates the SOS flashlight function.
  • Zoom In/Out Buttons: Adjust the digital zoom level.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

The camera has a built-in 2500mAh rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

  1. Open the door switch on the side of the camera.
  2. Connect the included Type-C USB cable to the camera's USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color when charging is complete.

5.2. Inserting a Memory Card

A MicroSD card (up to 32GB recommended) is required to store photos and videos. A 32GB card is included.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered off.
  2. Open the door switch on the side of the camera.
  3. Insert the MicroSD card into the TF card slot with the gold contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the door switch securely until it latches.

5.3. Initial Power On and Settings

  1. Press and hold the Power On/Off button to turn on the camera.
  2. If prompted, set the date and time using the navigation buttons and the Okay button.
  3. Navigate through the menu to adjust settings such as resolution, white balance (e.g., Underwater mode), and other preferences.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1. Taking Photos and Recording Videos

The camera supports 48MP photos and 4K video recording.

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Select photo or video mode from the menu.
  3. Frame your shot using the rear or front screen.
  4. Press the Shutter button to take a photo or to start/stop video recording.

6.2. Using Dual Screens

The camera features a 2.8-inch rear screen and a 1.44-inch front screen for versatile framing.

  • Press the Screen Switching button to toggle between the main rear display and the front selfie screen.
  • The front screen is ideal for self-portraits or group selfies.

6.3. Zoom Function

Use the Zoom In/Out buttons to adjust the digital zoom up to 18x.

6.4. Flashlight and SOS Function

  • The built-in flashlight can be activated for additional lighting.
  • Press the SOS button to activate the emergency flashlight signal.

6.5. Connecting to a Computer

Transfer photos and videos to your computer using the Type-C USB cable.

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the Type-C USB cable.
  2. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  3. Access the camera's storage to copy files.
