4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Powering On/Off
The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and the vehicle ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off (if hardwired correctly).
4.2. Recording Modes
- Loop Recording: The camera continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked files.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Lock): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten.

4.3. Parking Mode (with Hardwire Kit)
The AZDOME GS63H Pro offers three parking modes when connected via the hardwire kit:
- Collision Detection Parking Mode: The G-sensor detects impacts and automatically records and locks video.
- Time-Lapse Parking Mode: The dash camera records continuously at a low frame rate for 24 hours, compressing long periods into short videos.
- Motion Detection Parking Mode: The camera automatically starts recording when motion is detected in front of the vehicle.
The system also features low power protection, automatically stopping recording if the vehicle battery voltage drops too low, preventing battery drain.
