Milk Frothing
Create rich, creamy microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos.
- Prepare Milk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold whole milk, typically to just below the spout.
- Activate Steam: Press the "Steam" button. The machine will heat up to steam temperature. The LCD will indicate when it's ready.
- Purge Steam Wand: Before frothing, briefly open the steam valve to purge any condensed water. Close the valve.
- Froth Milk: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam valve. Position the pitcher to create a swirling motion, incorporating air for foam.
- Heat Milk: Once desired foam is achieved, lower the pitcher to immerse the wand deeper, heating the milk to the desired temperature (around 140-150°F / 60-65°C).
- Stop Steaming: Close the steam valve and remove the pitcher.
- Clean Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Briefly open the steam valve again to clear any internal milk.

Effortlessly achieve rich, creamy milk foam with the powerful steam wand.
Hot Water Dispensing
For Americanos, tea, or other hot beverages.
- Place a cup under the steam wand.
- Press the "Hot Water" button. Hot water will dispense from the steam wand.

Maintenance
Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray daily. It has a float indicator to show when it's full.
- Portafilter & Filter Baskets: Rinse after each use to remove coffee residue.
- Steam Wand: Always wipe immediately after frothing milk and purge briefly to prevent blockages. Use the cleaning needle if necessary.
- Exterior: Wipe the machine's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Descaling
Regular descaling is essential to maintain machine performance and extend its lifespan, especially in areas with hard water. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage.
- Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions (or use a mixture of white vinegar and water, 1:1 ratio).
- Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.
- Place a large container under the group head and steam wand.
- Turn on the machine.
- Run approximately half of the solution through the group head by pressing the "Two Cup" button repeatedly until half the tank is empty.
- Run the remaining solution through the steam wand by activating the steam function.
- Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
- Run several tanks of fresh water through both the group head and steam wand to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No water flow / Low pressure | Water tank empty; Red silicone plug not removed; Machine not primed; Coffee too fine/too much/tamped too hard; Clogged filter basket/group head. | Refill water tank; Remove red plug; Perform first use priming cycle; Use coarser grind, less coffee, or lighter tamp; Clean filter basket/group head. |
| Espresso brews too fast / Weak coffee | Coffee too coarse; Not enough coffee; Insufficient tamping. | Use finer grind; Increase coffee dose; Tamp more firmly. |
| No steam from wand | Wand clogged; Machine not at steam temperature. | Clean steam wand with needle; Wait for machine to reach steam temperature (indicated on LCD). |
| Machine leaks water | Water tank not seated correctly; Drip tray full; Portafilter not locked in properly. | Reseat water tank; Empty drip tray; Ensure portafilter is securely locked. |
