1. Product Overview

3. Setup and Installation

The Weuaste system is designed for straightforward installation on most motorcycles. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Mounting the Main Unit: Use the provided bracket kit and tools to securely mount the 6.25-inch touchscreen unit on your motorcycle's handlebars. The bracket allows for adjustment to ensure optimal viewing angle.
2. Connecting Power: The DVR is hard-wired directly to the motorbike's battery. Connect the ACC +12V wire to a switched 12V power source (e.g., ignition) and the ground wire to a suitable chassis ground point. This enables automatic video recording to start and stop with the key ignition.
3. Installing Cameras: Position the dual 1080P cameras at the front and rear of your motorcycle for comprehensive coverage. Ensure clear, unobstructed views. Secure the camera cables along the motorcycle frame to prevent interference or damage.
4. Remote Control Installation: Attach the wired remote control to your handlebar. This allows for convenient access to functions without diverting attention from the road.
5. SD Card Insertion: Ensure the included 128GB TF card is properly inserted into the main unit. This card is used for storing recorded footage.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The system supports wireless connection to your smartphone via Bluetooth for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto functionality. This allows access to navigation, phone calls, music playback, and text messaging through the touchscreen or voice assistants like Siri and Google Assistant.

• Step 1: Search and pair with 'MT02-XXX' on your phone via Bluetooth. Both Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connections work via Wi-Fi.
• Step 2: Check and open the Phone Audio settings. Go to Settings >>>> System settings >>>> Phone Audio >>>> ON.
• Step 3: Go to "Bluetooth Emit" for search and connect your Bluetooth Helmet.

4.2. DVR Functionality

• SD Card Management: Periodically back up important footage from the 128GB TF card. While the system features loop recording, regular checks ensure data integrity.
• Temperature Range: The device is designed to operate between -4°F and 158°F. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures outside this range.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Weuaste system, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• No Power: Ensure the ACC +12V and ground wires are correctly connected and receiving power from the motorcycle's battery. Check for any blown fuses in the motorcycle's electrical system.
• Screen Not Responding: Verify all cables are securely connected. If the screen is unresponsive, try restarting the motorcycle's ignition to power cycle the device.
• Fuzzy Camera Footage: Check that the camera lenses are clean and free from dirt, water droplets, or condensation. If a lens appears fuzzy, gently clean it. Sometimes, simply unplugging and re-plugging the camera cable can resolve connectivity issues.
• Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto): Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled. Re-pair the device with your phone if the connection is unstable. Check the system's Phone Audio settings as described in Section 4.1.
• Remote Control Unresponsive: Check the cable connection of the remote control to the main unit. Ensure no physical damage to the remote or its buttons.
